We have a right wing parents group trying to take over the school board here and they like to accuse people of “toxic empathy” if they don’t agree with their anti-DEI agenda.

So he’s just playing a game of chicken with everyone else’s money while embracing our enemies and alienating our alies all while having the worlds richest man slashing and burning the fed gov, and our safety nets.

Don’t forget about shorting the market so they can make money both ways

War against the sick and vulnerable. Slash and burn Medicaid, NIH, CDC, NOAA, FEMA, medical research, caps on insulin. Cancelled meeting to determine flu strains for flu vaccine, shutting down TB response capabilities while we have TB outbreaks. Calling mental health drugs a threat.

Musk would love a govt. shutdown so he can run wild all over our govt. systems with no oversight.

Except for his alliance with Putin, not seeing any strings attached there.

It’s awful watching people you know turn into deranged sadistic assholes who support anything president Musk and that orange clown says or does.

They were missing one thing. The keys to the kingdom for total control, root access to the US Goverment. Trump gave it to him.

it’s like Musk is trying to fulfill his grandfathers vision of a technocracy. At the end of the day everything is built on Silicon Valley’s technology. The convinced everyone to move to their cloud solutions. We allowed palantir to infiltrate government and business including the financial system.

Seems like the GOP is more interested in voter suppression and eroding the FEC than representing their constituents with this power grab. We need to keep our eyes on the SAVE act which will make it harder to vote especially for married women who took their husbands names.

It’s not a f-ing business, federal employees jobs are not to make money for the US, it’s to provide service to US citizens.

They’re worse than incompetent jerks. The chaos is part of a planned power grab we may not recover from in my lifetime.

What’s the fair shake on insulting and starting trade wars with out alies while embracing adversaries like Putin and blaming Ukraine for its own invasion? Trump declaring himself king and allowing the world’s richest man implement project 2025 while he dances around with a chainsaw gifted by Milei?

Trump and the GOP are not serving their oath to the constitution and they don’t care about what their constituents want. They are betting on eroding the FEC, the press and voter suppression to keep them in power regardless of what the people want.

This is just an excuse, they’ll find another reason if this doesn’t go their way. We really need constitutional law academics to sound the higher level alarms and organize with the BAR association decrying that law and order is being attacked by an authoritarian power grab. Maybe use the word coup!

They want to privatize EVERYTHING, and the Russian oligarchs have the money to buy up all of our public services to extort the poor and middle class. He’s selling out the American people to Russian oligarchs right in front of us.

People are still under the assumption he cares about the economy and markets. That assumption seems to be on shaky ground.

This is a war on our children seniors, sick, vulnerable, poor and middle class by fascist billionaires. Anyone they don’t feel is useful to their aims,or they consider a drain on the system they want destitute.

Agree, It may be too late. They are playing by their own rules like Orban told them to. Who’s going to protect judges and their families from harassment / threats is another question. At least the dems can throw it back in the house and senate Republican faces for history to judge their betrayal.
