I’m pretty sure IOS has a secret “troll the user” setting when it comes to its predictive text features…

If this were to happen, it would spark an even greater conflict as US would retaliate on principle alone and with full force.
frump needs to be removed, by US using the mechanisms within the US constitution.
It’s the least messy route, it’s the least destructive route, but also seems least likely.

To be honest, i’m deeply suspicious that this is a scottish chip shop… those guys will deep fry anything.
As for the baked bean volcano landscape, very obviously one persons attempt at “fancy”.
This is not typical “british cuisine”

You’d be lucky if you didn’t get run over or pinned against the other parked car the way it’s moving.
2 ton of erratically moving metal, more than enough reason to keep clear.

My working theory is this is Elon vicariously reliving his penis surgery.

It’s genuinely disgusting.
That oath to uphold the constitution was meaningless, and so much of this was laid out in project 2025.

Not sure that’s a full windsor, doesn’t look big enough.
One on right is a sausage knot/school boy tie.
There’s a lot of different tie knots, half windsor or pratt are a good choice imo.

Every clip I have seen looks pathetic.
Tanks that sound like they’re about to break down, half empty crowds, almost no sense of ceremony or celebration, troops that look like they’ve been forced out or threatened with discharge.
All looks so bleak.
Nothing about it says “Leading World Power”.

This didn’t stop law enforcement using force on peaceful protestors. Seen couple of different videos with people just stood with placards and then assaulted by police.
It’s absolutely disgusting.
The constitution is being shred and burnt during this administration.

By the time it’s come out the other end, yes, yes it is.

It’s genuinely mind blowing.
Renewables paid not to generate and at the same time coal and gas paid to increase output.
And it costs us hundreds of millions a year as taxpayers.
Renewables should be constantly on, then coal and used to supplement when they don’t have high output.

Counter proposal.
Don’t trust the non-squeaky doors, because they haven’t looked after the place and the first thing they did when they listed was WD40 the hinges because they’re so obvious.
Look for a garage with a proper tool kit (that isn’t brand new) and no black mould in the bathrooms

My guess is it took longer to mix and decorate after than bake…
Three cake tins, so need a good oven to cook evenly, but prob 30 mins in oven?
Stacking it up after and getting a smooth finish is the harder part!
Lovely looking cake.

Well this doesn’t sound remotely troubling at all….
Like setting fireworks off at the gas station, what could possibly go wrong?

Heavy redaction just makes it even more suspicious.
If I didn’t already think they knowingly chose to allow interference, this would certainly make me think so now.

I’ve not seen your butthole reading.
Is it like tea leaves or palm reading?
You can tell someone’s future from the shape of the skin stains and anus wrinkles?

They’re politicians, and she’s a smart one.
That’s my take on it at least, i think it’s a twist of the knife kinda move.

Wouldn’t be surprised.
Apparently he has already threatened some of the government contracts, he is likely to target anything that’s been done to ingratiate himself with musk.
i’m expecting some of the investigations into musks companies that were killed off to come back if this carries on
comment in response to

Frump and Musk are both misogynists, constantly dismissive and arrogant in the way they treat women.
AOC’s comment is very deliberately worded. She knows they’ll see it, and it’ll cut that little bit deeper because of the comparison and their own perception of women.
comment in response to

To be honest, we all knew that was the likely reason, but Elon really wants to stick the boot in.
Knowing frump, I’m wondering if the next move is to reinstate the investigations that Elon managed to neuter through DOGE, or will he cancel contracts, or maybe both?
I can see this getting very ugly…

Add that to the recovering opinion on trade, when every “deal” has turned to dust in the past month and made a huge mess over tariffs, it tells me they aren’t just terrible human beings, but completely dumb as well.

What I don’t understand is this.
You don’t just wake up one day married to someone.
You create the boundaries and conditions of your relationship, and it starts right from the first date.

Mardi Gras as straight pride… whatever next?
There is no such thing as “Straight Pride”, and you should be damn thankful that it’s never been nor will it ever need to be.
People should educate themselves on why these events exist, Jonathan Joss is an stark reminder.

It’s just kinda crap and bland (or is it low key social commentary for what happens when you take colour and variety out of the selection?)

I would also recommend looking into Positive Action, which are measure built into the equality act.
Not quite the same as affirmative, and has conditions to it, but it’s a similar concept (more aimed at removing disadvantage/increasing representation rather than outright push for specific groups).

There is also a lack of understanding around EDI, it’s not taught well/widely enough.
i’ve seen it many times where there’s an overshoot and actual merit can get lost in the attempt.
We are by no means experts and the approach to EDI variety hugely between different companies/employers.
comment in response to

Arguably it also still exists, even if a tribunal would find an employer guilty, you have to pay up front for them so many never pursue.
Countless businesses still have nepotistic or discriminatory approaches to employment and promotion, it’s often hard to prove/evidence.
comment in response to
post
It is no longer policy, and hasn’t been for quite some time, plus the equalities act widened protections and put a more explicit line through discriminatory practices, but we have had them historically.
comment in response to

This isn’t true.
Public sector had affirmative action policies a couple of decades back.
Policing is a classic example of it, where application and hiring policies advanced ethnic minority groups in an attempt to address major under representation of other ethnic groups in the Police Force

It’s a comment on Nancys “birthday dinner”
And generally speaking, if you take someone out for a birthday, or for anything really where it’s for them (celebration etc)
If they are the reason, you’d include their tastes/needs in making that choice.
comment in response to

If everyone was already going, and you’re vegetarian.
And it’s a restaurant that’s as friendly to vegetarians as a fart in an elevator is friendly to the people in the elevator with you
Then I would argue they are not taking you out for your birthday.
You were the after thought, not the reason.

Try skipping the wine and cheese on a real french stick and you’ll get slapped.

It’s a garbage article.
It’s based on a study exploring possibly outcomes if other forces are introduced to alter their current orbits, this is not something that’s actually happening.
