Young Bucks f'n rule.

I don't think so, because Fantastica Mania isn't on NJPW World.

She is definitely The People's Princess ❤️

I appreciate that insight. It's interesting because I only know that most wrestling companies seek growth at all costs, but it sounds like CMLL is happy with their legacy and not really looking to do too much beyond maintaining it. I can respect it.

I blame booking on that one tbh. I think their title reign could have been better with some real feuds and mic time. It didn't seem like they were given much. TK in general hasn't focused much on the tag division.

Private Party has always been over with the live crowd. Some people won't love them and that's chill, but they are largely loved. And our tag division - which was once the crown jewel of AEW - is looking rough.

A heel Private Party with Ricochet could definitely be an interesting take!

This is exactly how I feel as well. HS exists to be toppled at this point. The rub should go to a team like PP.

Idk if it true but I could definitely see it. If it's not directly bringing them in money I can see them seeing it as a threat. Not saying it makes sense, but business folk rarely do.

Yeah, it seems like CMLL just has their YT which is a bit pricey. Only good thing is it includes their premium events at their highest tier but it still feels a bit high. I've purchased it this month for Fantastica Mania and to try it out but I won't renew. Not worth it for me.

Definitely will be interesting to see how that works with their sports streaming.

I think it's a different scenario though. If WBD purchased streaming rights to CMLL broadcasts in the U.S., they'd have a vested interest in promoting it. Could appeal to a Spanish speaking audience in the U.S., develop into the addition of English commentary, etc.

Note: I have no expertise in this area nor have I "heard anything." This post is purely curiosity in case anyone else out there has more knowledge on how or why this would/wouldn't work.

Ah, yes, you've made great counterpoints such as "No" and "Why are you defending them?" Really have given me something to chew on. You're really an impressive conversationalist. Have a lovely day just not on my feed.

First day on the internet disagreeing with someone? You may find that when you post a disagreement in response to someone w/o evidence they may... provide a counterpoint. Gasp. Shock.

False. We enjoy them all.

It was up until their last appearance. Crowd was fired up for them at Full Gear 2024 when I was there and their last appearance was just a couple of months later. Or are you conflating your personal opinion with crowd reaction?
comment in response to post
Why would they change their gimmick? It was over.

I don't think their full potential has been reached yet, but I think they're a solid act who get a lot of love from the fans. I think they could still grow. The HFO overstayed its welcome but I think it helped Zay come out of his shell.

Is it just me though? Paragon is the least exciting thing on the show. I like each of them separate from each other but put them together and it's... well I don't want to be mean but I'm not excited.

It could have been the main event. I don't know why TK insists on not booking the right main event the last couple of weeks.

Ha! I guess I'll let myself off the hook a bit. And yeah, Juice really made it an amazing (if short) experience.

On the plus side when I met Jason David Frank (RIP) he was super nice and friendly so I didn't feel awkward at all about the interaction. Meeting Juice Robinson and Adam Cole at a VIP event was similar. Sooo nice. Juice especially had a way about him that made you feel appreciated.

I... uh... do not know how to make small talk.
comment in response to post
At All In... imagine for the main event you suddenly hear the opening of Ospreay's theme... silence... "WHOSE HOUSE?"... a beat... then a beat followed by Ghost Town Triumph to bring them all out in cowboy gear as they back Hangman up while he makes his way to the ring.

And I'm definitely going to check out more. This is just some early thoughts.

matches can be a little repetitive (you can only see so many hurracanranas and arm drags). I've learned the significance behind piledriver bans though so it makes sense... but it does impact overall enjoyment. - They have sent the right CMLL ambassadors to AEW, but I've liked a few more as well

After that first Tag Street Fight I will never not have love for Tay, Anna, Penelope & The Bunny

Her fighting style also brings something unique to the women's division. It says something that the Women's division is as stellar as it is and I'm still super stoked for her return. I'm not worried about where she will fit. She fits. Period. New TBS Champ or inaugural women's tag champ plz.

Same. I've said it before but I hope they never turn her heel again. I love Tay for a lot of the reasons I love Willow. The sincerity, the joy... and then the stone cold killer underneath (then she'll smile again after she's beaten your ass like it was a just a lovely day in the park).
