Like if Wemby wins five mvps I’m going to credit that to him being 8 feet tall and able to shoot 3’s and essentially being mighty Gilgamesh but sure maybe it’s because the French Bobby Knight threw a chair at his head or something

So one part of what irks me is the psychopaths who talk about “humanity” but don’t care about actual humans. The other part is the diversion of the time and energy of people who *do* care about other people, toward theoretical future problems and away from current harms. That is a goddamn tragedy.

No see I used to play Civilization V and after you capture another player’s great scientist you can just sacrifice them into an instant University, for the long game, or apply them to your Wonder

N.B. this is not even an indictment. It’s a complaint, which is “here’s what I swear” and can support a finding of probable cause for a warrant. But not sufficient for a charge, the federal grand jury would need to find PC as well. Why not get indictment first? A rush to show force? Ugh.

See also ¶15 ("The courtroom deputy had received a list of individuals appearing that day, and ... checked in defendants while attorneys checked in with the clerk") and ¶17 (regarding bailiffs notifying shit sergeants of ICE arrests, and the "courtroom deputy" having "done so accordingly.")

I had a discussion with some locals, as I'm not familiar with Wisconsin court officer titles. But reading more closely it's very likely this is a courtroom deputy sheriff, not the Deputy Clerk for the courtroom (which in my federal court and probably yours is what "courtroom deputy" is short for.)

Kash Patel has now deleted that tweet, but the arrest of the judge in her courthouse has been independently confirmed by local journalists. www.jsonline.com/story/news/b...

Sorry, I meant Y—I was expecting the sums to be based on a flat line for zero, the sort of flame graph is making it harder for me to grok.

This visualization is a little hard for me to read, I’m not sure what the X axis is. Is there a link to source data?

I’ve grown skills by having runway to figure out how to build things internally, even (especially?) when the road leads us back to something off the shelf (or mostly so.) I don’t spend a lot of time in SV orbits, so I’m guessing “build to learn” doesn’t mean “upskill long term employees” though.
