Registered Green Party ✅, but I support true progressive Dems, also. Would love to see a Green/Blue alliance. I support alliances unlike the fascists in the WH. USAF vet 72-76 (linguist) If you follow me, but have 0 posts or replies, I will block

Love those. Wish I could find one more shuttle. (I have 4 of those 🤭)

And don't bother with the cute little German toys. The stitching here, is red, the thread is brown, probably I stitched it on the "Stitchwell"

The New Home Midgets are my favorite, although not a toy. Very portable for car camping trips.

If they had a bit of stitch length adjustment, it would be nice. Maybe I need to reinvent the wheel. Using a modern quiet cogged belt

Damascus and Junior Miss also stitch pretty nicely

This little Stitchwell, does a pretty nice job.

Someone made a valid point here, that the founders didn't make it foolproof, in that if things got this far out of whack, retrieving it wouldn't be very do-able anyway

Some of the toy chain stitchers were a bit iffy on the quality of the hook, sometimes a bit of sanding, polishing helped it

I sold one, that had the little factory motor attachment. It worked great, if you removed the "motor". 😂

True. But if parties were singled out for political reasons for punishment...

Where would you imagine pardon powers should lie then. Not being confrontational, but how can we expect to ever regain a balance of power, if there ever was one.

So much in our constitution relies on the good character of the people in government. It’s a wonder we have lasted as long as we have.

I realize my attempt to make a point went far astray, and I apologize. But soft drinks are part of a huge health and environmental problem. Water is life. www.britannica.com/topic/soft-d...

It isn't traumatic, I just put it into my daily chores. I put trash cans out for them, which so far, only get removed, probably by al someone who needs the container for survival worse than I do.

You're right of course in your point. My attempt at making one was feeble. I decided back in 72, not to bring kids into this world. I feared exactly what is happening now

Be strategic, Register R for the primaries, write in the most progressive candidate. Take over the GOP, wear a Lincoln mask. Free the slaves

Those foods are Brands, we help set the standards. That pizza isn't made in the back of the store. Food is a #1 priority or should be, but not just access to any, access to nutritionally positive, IMHO. Preferences are learned through conditioning and habit.

If you were to visit a 7-11 in Japan, the varieties of food would astonish most in the US. The parent company is in Japan apnews.com/article/conv...

Yes, sorry, not my intent to disregard the worth of what offered. Just, that I wish things like SNAP, lunch programs, access to small local farms can't avoid cutbacks currently

Scored one from thrift. Lovely machine, gave it to my seamstress neighbor who gives free sewing classes.

It's a bit insidious though. In my neighborhood the high school prepares boring probably, but balanced lunches. Kiss would rather walk or drive to a convenience store, and wind up habitually buying the same junk. Health effects follow in a few years. Food is medicine, & fascists want to cut back

Consider, registering R, and unifying behind some candidate who is not a NotSee, or write in a progressive? I know, that would require a whole lot of organizing and getting a consolidated word out...but getting rid of fascists isn't going to be easy

😁 As one who never had younguns, I might tend to agree. Not to mention unwind up picking up all their discards on their way back from the "convenience" store. 🫤

Yes, but sugar, fat & salt are the trifecta for dietary problems, and addictive
comment in response to

Admittedly, it would be a bridge too far. The Dems can't even begin to consolidate now, possibly (imo) because they are by default the political defense on so many personal freedoms, as well as the expected anti-war (& failing at it) party

I think we need to register R and write in a progressive for the primaries

He would like you to think that. Progressives don't usually get anywhere, unfortunately. Might consider register R, and doing a massive write-in campaign for a progressive in the primaries
