I doubt he ever cared about climate change. He saw the way the wind was blowing and cynically invested, knowing that the fawning media would feed into his desires of self-aggrandisation. He's always craved attention, right back to his Zip2 days and the media bought into it hook, line and sinker.

Not to mention, they pretty much buried the simultaneous attacks on the Philippines because they didn't think US citizens would care. I only learned about it by reading Day of Infamy. But we all know it was Russia that won WWII, right? Right!?

You're on an inexorable march towards fascism, I'm sorry to say.

Making my way through JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and it's shaping up to be one of my favourite animes ever. Absolutely in love with the world, characters and humour.

The entire early PC market was driven by boomers

Yeah, it's amazing, honestly never felt more 'seen' in terms of my beliefs and ideologies and that's great. Wish more media challenged worldviews in the way that it does.

It's highly probable that Boris is also compromised, though he may not even be fully aware of it himself. His relationship with Lebedev and the resulting peerage raise a lot of questions. Same with the burial of intelligence on Russian's output during Brexit.

That's great additional context. I thought Apex might be on there as I see tons of Japanese players playing it all the time. As with most surveys, I'm sure there's a lot of grey areas and the narrative probably doesn't 100% match the reality, particularly in terms of mobile games, as you mentioned

Americans need to grow a set. It couldn't be more obvious where this is going.

It's a shame that culturally they can be so insular. Japan makes the best games in my opinion, but not one western franchise? They are missing out on a treasure trove of incredible games, particularly within the indie scene.

Ah right, so that's what it's all about. Gradually doing away with women's sports. I wondered why it was such a hot button issue for these guys, the mask slips.

Gotta be honest, if someone is talking games with me, regardless of how into them they are, I'm gonna be super passionate and enthusiastic and hopefully some of that rubs off on them.

Thanks for the heads up! Gave them a follow.

Always had a soft spot for the Army Men games despite their reputation.

It's extremely difficult but still a great game. Hope you enjoy!

Smart call by Microsoft. It's been out a good while now and has likely hit the majority of its playerbase on Xbox, so might as well port it to PS5.

Honestly, surprised it even needs to be said.

It was a launch title made by a ragtag group of developers in like six months who had recently split from Rare. TimeSplitters 2 is one of the best shooters ever made and holds up extremely well today.

Not to be ageist, but hiring a teen to conduct government oversight should be a red flag in itself.

Honestly, at this point, Battlefield is probably done. They had magic in their hands with Battlefield 2 - 4 but squandered it with the later games and I just think that style of game isn't in vogue anymore and may never be again.

Love Game Sack, one of my favourite YT channels. Didn't even know they did physical releases.

It's a silly take perpetuated by silly people.

Entirely predictable. Conglomerations run supermarkets and cynically jacked prices x2-3 just because they could. Disaster capitalism in its most naked form, you reap what you sow.

Castlevania is no joke. Respect!

Will go down as one of the all-time greats, guaranteed.

As someone that's been there since the beginning and put hundreds of hours into them, the art style and general vibes didn't appeal to me at all. Just didn't feel like DA and I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Still wanna play it but gonna wait till it drops in price.

What an album, managed to get introduced to it when it was released and saw them when they toured it. Pretty much made me a lifelong fan.
