Sad news. I was at the Vatican last month when the Pope was in hospital. His health looked fragile but he rallied. I thought he'd be with us a while longer.

I'm not convinced you ever finish the course. I gave up as the whole '3 minutes a day' lie, the competitiveness, non stop ads and guilt tripping for missing a days learning just made me hate something that should be fun.

A real hero. I remember seeing a documentary about the siege in which he spoke about the murder of a hostage and his guilt and regret that he couldn't change the outcome. He had no comprehension of how brave he was. An exceptional man. RIP.

I remember leaving Fanny's nightclub at Owler Bar in weather like this about 40yrs ago. The locks were frozen on the car so I couldn't get in. I cried at how cold I was and vowed I'd always remember that moment as I didn't believe I could ever be that cold ever again 🥶
