I’m guessing that when Elon left, he took with him the IT guy who was installing Trump’s OS updates.

Guarantee that if history books were rewritten to describe the immigration of Europeans to America as an “invasion”, Trump would immediately have those books banned.

I think I’d say to my coach, “I’m going to play back ten steps just in case he hits it LIKE HE DOES 99% OF THE TIME!”

So…how does the “China will pay the tariffs” work? Do we just send our receipts to China?

I’d highly recommend “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman”, a TV movie starring Cicely Tyson that aired 1974 too. The movie tells the fictional, though plausible story of a 110 year-old woman born into slavery but who lived long enough to participate in 1960’s Civil Rights movement. On Prime.

The lawyer’s wording is very…lawyerly. He never claims Epstein said he had nothing to hurt Trump. He just claims he asked Epstein if he did. No reference to Epstein’s response.

Never mind. I see he qualified it by saying “in his lifetime”.

Oh, I’d say Hitler did more to lead their movement than Trump.

By the way, is it still a capital crime to vandalize a Tesla or does it now earn an instant pardon?

My guess is Musk agreed to call off the feud if Miller will agree to take his wife back.

When it came out that Trump tried to extort Zelensky into lying about the Biden’s I was a little amazed that Zelensky did not bow to the pressure. Now that we know Zelensky better, I can see that for him it was an easy choice

Right about now Trump is thinking it might not have been a great idea to give Musk access to EVERYTHING! I’m guessing Musk also has copies of every trump tax return.

In other baseball news, only the Orioles have a longer winning streak going than the Rockies!

Because as he left the White House, Musk told Trump, “by the way, I downloaded your tax returns going back to 1974. VERY INTERESTING!”

Yes, that ball was much farther than 424 in my opinion.

Well, he is right that “it wasn’t meant to be this way”. The way it was meant to be was that Americans would elect qualified decent people who wouldn’t do illegal things that the court would have to block!

I understand that in the taco salads sold in Trump Tower they have replaced the little Mexican flag with Trump’s white flag of surrender.

The story of the Good Samaritan takes on extra import when you understand the animosity between Jews and Samaritans and the physical, social, and financial risk the Samaritan took to help someone in need who society told him he should despise.

Actually, many evangelical Christians, whom she was theoretically trying to kiss up to, do NOT believe that all of us will die. I wonder if they see her statement as heretical.

Isn’t it ironic that many of the people who claim to miss the morality plays of old western movies and shows would be leading the lynch mob instead of being the noble sheriff protecting the prisoner?

When the good guys get into power again 🙏🏼 investigations will look into individual ICE locations via cellphone data and government records. Woe to any government official who tries to obstruct justice by deleting this info.

How sad it must be for many to realize that what for decades they prided as principled convictions were just politically convenient positions

For a guy who is on a “mission from God”, it’s amazing how he never credits God for his very few accomplishments. Even a pitcher who throws 100 mph fastballs thanks God after striking a guy out.

I get that a tariff is “taxation”, but how is it “without representation” anymore than a sales tax?

This may be technically true. Barron no doubt didn’t apply to ANY college. A paid college consultant no doubt applied for him.

Actually I am not Catholic but have nothing but admiration for what she did to make the world better for thousands of people in India. I think you would be hard pressed to find an Indian who would say that India would have been better if she hadn’t dedicated her life there.

This portrait reminds me of a line attributed to John Adams in the HBO miniseries on Adams. “Is he welcoming us to the White House or showing us the way out?” Hopefully, it was a prescient Washington showing Trump the way out.

Being shocked that Biden’s Administration didn’t trumpet supposed declining mental acuity is like being shocked about gambling in Rick’s Cafe. Did Trump tell us how sick he was with Covid? Reagan being forthright on his dementia? JFK’s back? FDR, Wilson? Leaders naturally keep weakness hidden.

Since Trump is so opposed to Due Process, I’m sure he would support Wharton if they were to revoke his degree pending a full investigation.
