Will Robertson, a left-handed hitting outfielder, who has 12 HR and a .991 OPS in 51 games at AAA Buffalo, is expected to join the Blue Jays in St. Louis tomorrow per source. Robertson's 27 and was selected in the 4th round of the 2019 draft. First on this was Trevor Hahn.

Trent Thornton has now given up 15 ER and 6 HR in 17.2 innings.

Love how Kirk scoring on a wild pitch was the difference.

Righties are hitting .125/.208/.188 vs Fluharty. No idea why that change was made. Moronic

Blue Jays batters haven't reached double digits in strikeouts in 20 consecutive games. That's their longest streak since a 2015 streak of 25 games. stathead.com/tiny/lXRfR

God I love 2-out, 3-run homers.

You know I’ve bought into the Jays when I grabbed the Father’s Day special for mlb tv so I can watch the out of town games. Also can hopefully make some audio compilations.

Highest batting average in MLB history with 2 strikes, minimum 100PA. 2014 Gwynn: .368 2025 Kirk: .354 1997 Gwynn: .352 stathead.com/tiny/ZzzwA

That back foot throw by Giménez from behind second to get the second out in the tenth was huge.

The losses where they blew multiple run leads in the 8th or 9th inning have been really painful.

Broadcasters love saying "No one's going to feel sorry for them." when they relay the injury woes of each and every team.

Enjoying Yarbrough shitting the bed after Rosenthal reporting the story of him rejecting the Jays offer then accepting the very same from NY.

Wonder if we could get Tyler to the ASG.

Best records in MLB over the last 30 days: NYY: 18-7 CHC: 17-8 TBR: 18-9 TOR: 18-9

Another really great W - hard not to get some hope for this team.

Gosh that was an inning - every batter reached 3 balls.

And Seattle and Minnesota are losing 🙂

In their last 3 home series spanning 10 games, the Blue Jays have scored 76 runs (+ any more today). That's something they haven't done since 2003. stathead.com/tiny/1xarP

The Blue Jays are 5-5 when scoring just 2 runs despite being outscored 43-20 heh.

The draft should be a complete lottery, no benefits to being last. If your team sucked, that's your fault.

First game at the SkyDome happened on this day in 1989. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnPv...

A lot has been made of Kirk's plate approach this season. He's second in the majors (min 50 PA) for batting average with 2 strikes, hitting .330. Did you know the player ranked first is a Blue Jay as well? Try guessing before checking the link. stathead.com/tiny/Lj82j

For those of you who were at the Bat Flip game or Edwin’s walkoff how well do you remember that day? I was at 1993 Game 6 and not much is left in my memory and we literally won it all.

We got a mama robin right outside our bedroom window. 🙂

TIL Pete Walker's nickname was/is Big Cheefy? www.baseball-reference.com/players/w/wa...

The last time the Blue Jays scored 7+ runs in 5+ consecutive home games was May/June 2003. stathead.com/tiny/f767t

The last time a Blue Jays cleanup hitter had 3 homers was Saunders at BAL in 2016. Last time at home was the Edwin hat trick game.

A lot to unpack in that quick inning 🙃

Might need to start talking bout the man in white. 43 runs in their last 29 innings at the dome.

The last time the Blue Jays scored just 6 runs in 6 games was 1996. stathead.com/tiny/6lNl7 The fewest they have scored in a 6 game span is 4 runs back in 1978.

In programming, there's something called metasyntactic variables, arbitrary names used when the actual names are unimportant or yet to be defined. The most common is: foo. Then: bar. The third is: baz. So whenever Baz pitches against us, I think Foobar. Which is my sentiment about playing the Rays.

What a win! Go Jays!

Those takes by Bo and Vlad are puzzling. He’s done nothing but fill the zone…

This is the Jays’ 21st day game. They’ve won 6.

The Jays have been in every game this month save the 8-3 loss to the Rays. They are 10-8 and blew 4 leads in the 8th inning or later too.
