Getting a new war scooped by Mike Huckabee and the Pentagon Pizza Report

I've got questions.

Aside from everything else that's wrong with this, there's no way that Noem hasn't had interactions with Senator Padilla before. She's either stupid, lying, or thinks that all Hispanic people look the same.

I don't think I've ever seen any demographic hate the teachings of Jesus like evangelicals manage to, man.

In other words, they can't persuade China to do a deal.

"Let's tackle journalists that are asking questions" is the spin. But that is still terrible! Journalists are allowed to asks questions at a press conference!

Congress better do something before there's no Congress.

I'd like to think that once the Dems figure out that folks like Sen. Padilla, John Mannion, Gov. Newsom, etc., are getting all the good press, they're going to all start being an enormous pain in the ass

Not yet, anyway.

This, regardless of what the polls are telling you. This is *how* your median voter who is not paying attention is going to realize that this was bad.

As much as MS-13 has been useful for Trump in trying to scare voters, it should come as no surprise that he's doing his best to fund MS-13. Why not? He needs them more than they need him.

If you don't want judges overruling your foreign policy, then maybe try conducting foreign policy without taking a dump on the Constitution. That's the usual path forward, here, Pete.

This isn't the most important thing, but has anyone actually checked to see if the money for the Trump card is actually going to the US Treasury? At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it was going to fund the lawn maintenance at Trump's golf courses, or something.

I don’t see any way in which social media was not a net geopolitical boon for autocracies, yeah. They can flood our information space with industrial scale bullshit, augmenting the already trust-eroding properties of social media and just block the shit at home. It’s extremely bad.

Oh, this is a bad idea.

I mean, if I was the President, this is not the show I would have gone to see. But I'd like to think that if I was the President, there would also be other differences from what we're seeing now, so there's that.

Well, this is just embarrassing.

Populism, as practiced by the current GOP, apparently involves telling poor people that they're not smart enough to ask questions. Or maybe that's only when they're black. Honestly not sure.

This is not a difficult question.

It's wild to me that this sort of perspective is so frequently associated with evangelicalism. I think it's pretty obvious that if Rufo was born in a different era, he'd be leading the call to crucify Jesus.

There are a bunch of people dunking on this, as if the Fox News idiots will be embarrassed by inconsistency. I think a better way to understand it is that they know what they're doing and are bragging that they can define reality for people that watch their show.

Huh. So there's a benefit for people to move around and be where they want. That seems like a good principle, maybe the GOP should try applying it to, y'know, stuff.

Here's our Director of National Intelligence repeating Russian talking points. Great job, everyone.

How much does Trump have to suck to make me appreciate Gavin Newsom. I mean, really.

If you were wondering if Gabbard was stupid enough to fit into the cast of losers that make up the Trump administration, the answer is apparently yes.

The folks at @thebulwark.com have the opportunity to do the funniest thing.

Just want to express once again my contempt for all the mainstream and libertarian platforms that promoted this loathsome discount Goebbels. Shame on you.
