Well-traveled I am, and when I visit somewhere new I make a point of ordering an "Americano" to see what I get.
Invariably I get a cup or glass of boiling hot, black, WEAK coffee regardless.
One example - HCMC and Ða Lat. Made in a phin filter set, at the table, one pour, hot - and weak. 😄

There are over 13,000,000 people in metro Los Angeles. And there are probably 20,000,000 guns.
Wake the Sleeping Giant they will.

Go around the house and Throw Shit Away. Otherwise you get a garage so full you can no longer keep vehicles in it, and $19,000 in tools you used one time but won't toss because you are in deep in the Sunk Cost Fallacy 😄
Lowes and HD will rent you almost anything these days. Rent, use, take back 😉

I travel for work. I love the traveling part. When I arrive at my destination, it means it's time to buckle down and work. So I enjoy the journey more than the destination.

Ultimately if Elon kicks off his last restraints he can fund the defenestration of Lord Nadjhontump with little fear of retribution.
Nothing keeps billionaires from having enemies disincorporated other than fear of being removed from the best guest lists.

The speeches of record - I share the good parts of the Second Inaugural when trying to get through thick skulls. "This President declared 'With malice towards none, with charity for all, let us bind our Nation's wounds -"
That Wretch we elected is openly, gleefully malicious in thought word & deed.

New tech consumes, old tech reduces.
When Int3l announced they were going to build chip fab in Arizona I was "What." Because chip fab sites need a tremedous volume of clean water.
But they have promised the operation will be water neutral.
So they can keep draining the Colorado for golf courses.

You can imagine what can be done with today's drones and flocking/swarming technology, if deployed against soft targets. Inexpensive and user-friendly to the core -

What kind of mind would give up all remaining pretense of individual privacy in exchange for convenience?
We can turn off our personal mobile devices or leave them at home.

This sounds like the "Gargoyles" of "Snow Crash" or "Copspace" from "Halting State".
