Kaminiski was a very solid Iron Man writer. I got some trades from his tenure and he was writing Iron Man as prototypical cyberpunk: cyborgs, mercenaries, mega corps, VR and hacking. It was solid for the era. One of the better written Marvel books of the early 90s.

At some point plan to reread the Teen Tony arc.

She definitely fits in with the other Shi'Ar characters. Weirdly legalistic, high courtly drama, sorta a warped Roman Empire in space. The Shi'Ar could carry a book, and she could fit as a part of the ensemble. Bastard daughter finally claiming her legacy.

Which they had in the form of a serial in MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS. I think Kaminski was hoping for something more after that but he was pretty much the only one who cared about them. I found it interesting that Tony's old girlfriend Meredith McCall joined them, they could have done things with that.

Deathcry has so much going for her. Estranged daughter of Deathbird who is not allowed to call herself part of the house of Neramani, genetic throwback, really insecure young woman pretending to be tough to cope with her shit life. Loves Pearl Jam and the Gap.

Deathcry looked cool, and they could've done more with her.
I also recently reread some Iron Man from that era. The Masters of Silence had some promise. Their appearances in Iron Man feels like a failed stealth pilot for their own book.

ARAGORN: I'm not going into the city unless they invite me in. I don't want to start something. I'm not trying to be king.
ÉOMER: (spits) Dude, we've been fightin' unner a big fuckin' flag your girlfriend made that says "Fuck off you cunts, I'm the King."
ARAGORN: Yeah, but that was for the orcs.

Kyle Rayner as Green Lantern. No Guardians, no weakness to yellow, no space cops, just "a manga nut with a power ring". It's the exact best approach to get the bad taste of the Campbell/Reynolds movie out of our mouths.
