Tell me about a fictional character death you still haven't gotten over using only pictures.

Research for my Rogue One / Andor campaign continues. The Rogue One Visual Guide is brilliant, and this book Dawn of Rebellion is another great visual resource, for those of you plotting Star Wars games. ( @fenrisgames.com )

Inspired by art of Rogue One... Once a remote ancient temple, Spire is now a dusty and wind-bitten settlement—part sanctuary, part smuggler’s haven. At its heart rises a tapering tower of weathered stone, ringed with wooden balconies and prayer flags. It predates the Empire by centuries.

No mow May has turned into no mow June and I am liking my back garden turning into a mini meadow. Hanging out the washing this morning and there are bees and butterflies everywhere. ☺️

⚠️ Heads Up: A critical Third-Party Service Provider is experiencing issues with authorization, causing the VTT to fail to load. We're working hard towards a solve, and will keep you updated!

Had some great news today about a family member’s health so I celebrated with a Frey Bentos pie and Smash for lunch. Feels like space food and it was flipping amazing. Hope the veggies balanced it out. 😆

My favourite one like this is Don Henley getting Brian to autograph a copy of Pet Sounds. Brian signed it "thanks for all the great music" then thought for a second, crossed out "great", and wrote "good"

It’s already been a week since me and the Tuesday night group finished our Call of Cthulhu sci-fi campaign. It was an epic finale. Tonight we’re still playing Cthulhu, but we’re going go back to the 2nd Century, to Northern Britannia. Tonight is the first run out of The Harrows Scar Horror! 🏛️🏺👹

Does anyone know the comic “DIE”? It’s sort of a darker take on the “Dungeons and Dragons” cartoon, or more specifically what happens after they return home after being missing. I bought the first volume a few years back and remember really enjoying it but never got round to reading the rest.

Ship of Fools is an engaging, enticing setting—papal investigators navigating apostolic bureaucracy, religious dogma, & papal perturbation. It deserves a full campaign, but even now, it’s a good introduction to a world of papal paranoia and sacred shambles. rlyehreviews.blogspot.com/2025/06/the-...

At the MMU degree shows today. Some amazing talent on display. This was my absolute fave: Hantu by Rosie Hutabarat. It's a beautiful full-colour graphic novel full of magical imagery. MMU staff only had one copy for sale, because the artist didn't think anyone would be interested in buying it!

I’m watching the first season of Northern Exposure. ☺️

After seeing one of the @morkborg.com crew wearing this tee at UKGE last week I simply HAD to have one of my own. One can never, ever, have too many T-shirts. 🤩

Absolutely loving the new Turnstile album (out today). They’ve confirmed Meg Mills of Leeds hardcore band Big Cheese as their new guitarist too. 😍 youtu.be/s_qhk_sqr5w?...
