Did you avoid sleeping in there for 24 hrs?

We've got lettuce growing in ones which were left here when we moved in. New ones will be for tomatoes, a courgette plant and maybe more lettuce, then winter greens through the autumn hopefully.

Planning on sorting out some veg planters we had delivered today, will feel nice to have that sorted.

Oh and lots of annoying house stuff...

Up and down, also work struggles.. sorry you're the same.

Felt like he definitely struggled a bit with anxiety / feeling uncomfortable at the start, impressive being able to confront that whilst being filmed. Nice to see reality TV of people just being nice to each other.

I thought he did pretty well.

Too many battles to try and fight sadly :(

There was probably a lot more horrible stuff I missed out. He said the people may be dead now that he mentions but their family would still be alive. If he's only changed names people could still recognise themselves.

He goes to work in social care for the council at one stage and complains people are too 'lefty' and don't like his 'banter' I think we can probably all imagine what that would be like....

I listened to it today. Its unbelievable some1 can write about being abusive towards patients and face no consequences. Regularly getting drunk on shift, being derogatory2patients, misogynistic views, so so many issues. Yes it's an incredibly hard job, but the way they've written about it is awful

I was taking 5mg which is half of the lowest dose prescribed, urgh!

Did you find it took a while for the amitriptyline withdrawal symptoms to go away?
comment in response to post
I did try that too but got horrible UTI type pain :( hope it helps you.
comment in response to post
Nortriptyline for me, I'd avoided taking anything the whole time I've been in pain, but was really fed up with it last month and gave in. The gastro side effects have made me stop.

Reminding me of benzo withdrawal which I really don't want to be reminded of! Felt terrible this morning but it lifted whilst I was outside, but back to grim again this evening.

Episode 3 is incredible.

Or they get bog monstered! Going thigh deep through snow into one was one of my least pleasant hiking experiences!

We spent a week near festiniog and hardly saw anyone whilst out and about in the lower hills. I would guess the numbers are probably even higher for the % these days.

I didn't go to the one near us(couldn't face it) but will try and comment online if I can find some spoons.

Its pretty un-user friendly to wade through and comment, but due to gov targets they are having to identify extra sites for potential housing. Nailsea and Backwell badly effected and many of the fields by Weston Big wood :( n-somerset-pp.inconsult.uk/connect.ti/R...

@laurarichmond.bsky.social is this the publisher you are releasing your book through?
comment in response to post
Yes, it would be interesting to see some actual numbers.

Me too. My work alarm is 7.45 which is horrendously early!
comment in response to post
Yes indeed. Caving featured too :)

.. not from the civil service as they don't advertise any as fully home working and staff have to fight for adjustments.
comment in response to post
I don't know where they expect all these imaginary part time, home working, flexible jobs with supportive employers to come from.
comment in response to post
I'm going to write back with 'thoughts' if I find the spoons, they just don't understand what it's like for people in the real world. I want to change jobs but impossible to find a WFH part time job within my abilities. #MadSkyChat

Nearly pushed her out the way when she did the injections, don't remember them being that painful! Could be a pain oversensitivity thing though #MadSkyChat

Avoiding the news but then got an email from local MP which pissed me off. Talking about the gov supporting autistic people to get into work zero clue about barriers and for some work make not be possible or appropriate. #MadSkyChat

Hello, I had to have a filling today and only got about 5 hrs sleep due to anxiety so work was hard. Somehow managed to eat afterwards and made it to pilates & it was a nice class today. Pain picking in now! #MadSkyChat

@lakesstiles.bsky.social have you read Tom's books?

I've got pretty bad GERD to the extent it really effected swallowing since Xmas, I think that coupled with anxiety just makes it too hard. I'm only taking a tiny dose of estrogen so going to check if I can chew the tablet but expecting them to say no.
comment in response to post
I can't take it that way for sensory reasons. They are so badly designed. I've always struggled with tablets but these are obscene!

Ha, I'm exactly the same, need to know the time and also enjoy guessing the time 😄
