If someone wants to take your civil rights away, they are NOT your friend. We shouldn't have to explain to people that taking away their rights is a bad thing. This is how screwed up the press is.

If only someone had predicted this years ago...

I may be old, but this is not how the President of the United States should talk to anyone.

Ooooh, getting a lot more adventurous!

He also played the lunar shuttle pilot in 2001 A Space Odyssey. It's a tiny role, but boy, what a film!

It's not 'bullshit' if the intent is to punish the states. I would wonder if this has more to do with Newsom threatening to withdraw federal taxes than it does with ICE raids. Someone with a brain (not Hegseth) realises that all this might lead to secession and a second civil war.

That's stunning!

He wants Trump to nationalise Elon's companies, so they've also discovered communism. What a wonderful day!

Oh dear. I suppose if they brought Toxie back, this is the next illogical step. Both these titles were very much a product of their time and I don't see either working in the 21st Century. I'm happy to be proved wrong though.

They do go well together.

I don't know what that is, but I'm 100% on board. It looks amazing.

Damn! Wow.

I certainly am now. "Bottling plant magazine" for the win!

Damn straight! Shotty for the win! Look at the cheer that the Super Shotty got during the Doom 2016 play reveal.

I've seen both sides of the coin and American "health care" is a cruel joke. The thing is, that Americans are so brainwashed, that they WON'T see. Trumper dude wants to get rid of "Obamacare" because it's communism, but they better not touch his ACA that treats his back. You can't make this shit up.

It's happed in America (Trump) and it's happened in England (Brexit). It's getting worse. In England we are one election away from having a Trump-aligned leader running our country into the ground for the profit of his rich freinds.

Corporate and idealogical interests who have bought out the media are the biggest threat to our lifestyles. They are a literal attack on our lives and liberty and we have to recognise this and start treating them as such.

A Trumper in the US I know was having a heart attack. I was talking to him on Discord, telling him to call an ambulance. Instead, he was on the internet looking for who was in his insurance network and where he could cheaply get an ECG!!! He STILL thinks that public healthcare is communism!!!
comment in response to post
The problem, again, is that people don't believe it. The media will push it as a wonderful alternative and not tell them that they still have to pay for care on top of the insurance and they still have to wait. Most Americans are brainwashed to believe that what they have is the best.

I've archived a ton of old VHS recently and yes, it's a huge pain in the ass. It's a bit heartbreaking to put all that drop-out and noise back onto footage after spending months trying to clean other footage up.

Please remember that Farage wants to get rid of the health service. Imagine having to find the money for health insurance on top of all the other prices going up like a saturn 5 rocket.
comment in response to post
This is the problem. Racist gammons will happily give away their health care, their human rights and their freedom to anyone who will promise to deal with the foreigners. The problem is that you have to live in the corporate/fascist hellhole they've created.
comment in response to post
Mass brainwashing by the media has got to the point where we have to explain to people that taking away their human rights is a bad thing. I can't even. Look across the pond to America. Both Kemi and Farage have both praised Trump. They want what is happening in America to happen here.

This is gorgeous. I love the design with the vertical engines in fins and the v-wings of the orbiter. Amazing shading, light and weathering too.

I made a couple of Backrooms videos and was shocked to find that there was a whole mini eco-structure dedicated to faking VHS tapes for modern digital retro artists.

You could do it with McCoy and have it be a weird amalgam of Paradise Towers and The Happiness Patrol set in a huge mega-mart. Featuring Jimmy Krankie as The Greeter Robot and Bernard Manning as Big Value.

I tought myself two skills on the internet to a professional level and I wouldn't want to go back to libraries and piles of magazines again, as nostalgic as it seems.

The internet of the 90's and early 2000's before the assholes realised they could use it for social engineering.
comment in response to post
Also, I think that a lot of the problems are unscrupulous assholes weaponising the internet and social media to advance their greedy agendas. We need to view these as active attacks on our freedom and our way of life and treat them as such.

It's great to hark back to a simpler time, but just now I need to reformat my computer and I can just grab an installer and go online and find out how to use it in instants. No pawing through DVDs, trawling the library and your magazine collection for information. Give me a bullshit filter instead.

Thank you! Loretta was wonderful and it was terrible to hear of her passing. The world needs decency at the moment and she provided in spades.

He was supposedly high as a kite on ketamine while all this was going on. The news from America is going from Monty Python through to David Lynch faster than I can keep up.
