If it can be framed as “owning the libs”, MAGA is just fine with it, no matter the cost, no matter the cause.

Good luck with her! Please keep her indoors. Too many things can go terribly wrong, otherwise.

That fckn Court is off the rails. They just gave those snot-nosed doge nazi youth shitheads access to the entire country’s Social Security info under the guise of finding (non-existent) “waste, fraud, & abuse”. We’ll have to work our way UP to shithole country status from here.

Meanwhile, the real criminals are these thugs and the ones directing them from the White House on down.

Thank you, Alan.. Disagreements don’t always end in a handshake here. I’ve seen the claws come out more than once. I’m glad that didn’t happen this time. Thank you for your comment.

Perhaps I misspoke in an earlier post. Science is the search for proof or, some times, disproof of a concept. Faith is not the search for proof. Faith is based on hope; not known facts. It is literally believing something without having proof either way. That’s the difference.

You know what? You’re right. Let’s agree to disagree. I’ll just leave you with this: Hope is the absence of proof. That doesn’t mean that hope can’t be proven as truth, but it also means that it can be proven as untrue. Hope is faith. Science is the quest for proof.

That comment does absolutely nothing to negate what I said.
comment in response to

Yeah. That’s kinda what I said. Faith is hope. Science is proof. What’s your point?
comment in response to
post
Umm, no. Faith is belief without proof. Science is belief WITH proof.

So true. Nothing that happens here means a god damned thing outside our atmosphere.

Such a stupid, juvenile response from the DOJ Chief of Staff. The country is in the hands of deplorables unqualified on a level unsurpassed.

That’s called intelligent design, and that calls for faith. Science is rooted in facts.. not faith.

Unfortunately, Musk could give a sworn statement complete with photographic evidence of what he did to rig the count, and Democrats would respond with a “strongly worded letter”, and that would be the end of it.

The right is intentionally conflating anti-Netanyahu sentiment with anti-Semitism. So corrupt and destructive and intentionally pitting people against each other.

It’s a cautionary tale.. came out in 1973, and it addressed issues that are still relevant. I don’t want to spoil it for you in case you find it, but there’s a plot synopsis on Wikipedia (and elsewhere) about it if you’re curious.

Right on. It’s true. We are that shallow. It’s more evident each day, in so many ways. Our final chapter will be about toxic religion and defunding education doing us all in.

Shithole torture prisons for innocent animals whose only crime was being born, where the only release is a violent, savage death to satisfy the palates of humans oblivious to the suffering of the sentient beings whose dead flesh sits on their dinner plates. We are an unrepentantly violent species.

Strange, how extremely fragile “conservative” masculinity and white supremacy are. In their view, any hint of any deviation from their preferences must be erased or outlawed. What TF are they so afraid of?
