Elon musk should be executed for his crimes. Amount of blood on his hands from his cuts to usaid, veterans etc. Plus him straight up stealing all of our data. Treasonous. Plus he's a fucking nazi. Any Democrat that doesn't think he should be at least jailed will get no support of mine.

Its legitimately the only job I can think of that an ai would probably be much better at than humans and it would be the single biggest saving as well.

This is so fucking simple. -m4a -tax billionaires -drop Israel -abolish ice -living wages -leave trans people alone Make peoples lives better, then they'll win. But they won't even entertain these ideas even tho they're popular because winning isn't as important as profit for the donors/lobbyists.

Anyone who thinks this is a winning messaging should never touch politics again. Even beyond being absolutely devoid of the clever wit it seems to assume it has, it's what? Goading him to be even worse? No end game head empty. Honestly feels like a chatgpt idea.

Its probably been trained to avoid mentioning sexually explicit material. So when you ask it to explain a euphemism that it has no data on that isn't explicit... it just generates random answers until something sounds halfway plausible enough to spit out

I just tried this... and it just ignores the swearing or comments on it before answering

Lateral unlocks like unlocking new classes or weapons that allow you to play in a different way but aren't necessarily making you artificially stronger i am cool with. It's the rogue legacy/dead cells school of accumulating a bunch of incremental stat buffs over the course of dozens of runs...
comment in response to post
I've definitely seen it defined that way too. which can be helpful. But the terms being so close in pronunciation and sometimes used interchangeably i feel kinda muddies that from being that useful widely.
comment in response to post
...adventure mode is pretty standard roguelike fare id say?
comment in response to post
Fair enough. That one mightve been stretching. It does have a mode that is expressly that tho.
comment in response to post
TBF A few of those have lateral unlocks which I'm okay with. Unlocking different classes/equipment that change the way you play without necessarily making the game artificially easier. in a certain sense they are all a grind. But what your grinding is your own knowledge not your characters stats.

Qud, spelunky, stone soup, duskers, vagante, noita, barony, crypt of the necrodancer, dwarf fortress, fidel dungeon rescue, stone shard, overland, nauticrawl, heat signature, Kingsway, inscryption, teleglitch, rift wizard, dungeon of the endless, into the breach, shogun showdown.

stat boosts over and over again until you can beat the game you statistically had no chance of doing without grinding is the exact opposite of what makes a rogue like interesting at all
comment in response to post
I know I'm being an annoying nerd here. But roguelikes with unlocks is the gaming trend I hate the most. The best thing about a true roguelike is that it's gated only by your understanding of the game mechanics. Learning the game is the unlocks. Trading that for grinding a bunch of incremental...

There's like 15 different ways to interpret "wouldnt be in that situation" and none of them them are good.

Yeah. I think he's always been a charlatan. But I think he's also clearly not functioning enough to be as eloquent as he probably used to be (idk really know though I've never listened to him talk for more than 30 seconds before...) but this really struck me as someone in cognitive decline.

*probably would've damn autocorrect
comment in response to post
I mean he probably wouldn't been on the nazis side... but putting that aside he's just flat out refusing to acknowledge any hypothetical scenario at all because he knows he has nothing. He's just stalling and deflecting by trying to turn it into an unwinnable debate of intentipnally obtuse semantics

Its precisely what is happening if you understand what an analogy is.

Fucking Google "patents" idiot
comment in response to post
And no. If the "solution" is to rip off other people's intellectual property and sell it as your own without permission or acknowledgement or recompense then it's absolutely both illegal and unethical.
comment in response to post
No. YOU fundamentally don't understand what patents are. You have it literally backwards. Patents are to protect intellectual property, not to provide a document for others to rip you off...
comment in response to post
No. Previous analogy was way closer. If you want to be pedantic about it. It would be like scraping all the blueprints and design documents for patented cars without permission from the rights holders and creating an algorithm that randomly stitched pieces of designs back together to avoid patents

Ah. Wasn't aware of it sorry
comment in response to post
....no? Even 4chan circa (2008 at least when I first became aware of it.) Had a pretty strong contigent of absolute degenerates. The cool people left. But there was always an abundance of yuck there you'd still have to wade through.

If i knew and trusted this sentiment from a creator I'd be way more ready to support both them and the products! But I feel like the well is so poisoned with Better Help type garbage (and MUCH worse) being peddled in fake ass first person "I used this product and it was great"... i can never believe

Ai is not deterministic. You can ask it the same question and get different answers

That's an all timer. Hell i bought a tear shirt... But that was also like 8 years ago or something now.

I've really been liking the game. But visually it looks like busy mush sometimes.

My dog is an idiot who gets scared by those little green "look out for children at play" child silhouettes people put out. But even he would rolls his eyes at the hack job of a canine in the first pic

Not even a fan of obama really and would classify him as "another war criminal president in a long list" but I would think Graham lineman would be a worm even to him.

Only things I even know about him is; transphobe, british, rowling reply guy, what cartoon caricatures of him look like.
comment in response to post
Its wild that I don't think I've ever even seen Graham linehans face but can still recognize a cartoon making fun of him

I listen to a fair amount of podcasts and basically all of them have at one point or another shilled or sold ad space to something that was at best useless and often outright harmful or exploitative.
comment in response to post
He's gotta be hard up for money or something. I can't understand why else he'd do this. Anyone whose been been following him a little bit can tell you he is informed well enough to know how trash this is.

Man fire whoever chose that as a headline and never let them come near any news/media outlet agai
