Turns out it wasn’t sold out! The servers completely crashed and neither Warner, AMC nor Fandango felt it was important to communicate that to people. Sinners 70mm at CityWalk is now available to purchase and the seats are wide open!

And I’m one of them because I literally watched the 70mm IMAX yesterday but was like okay I’m down to go again for a better seat 😭😭

Her very specific level of talent and fame is exactly what makes her comments so ridiculous. Like, please! You shoulda just sat there and ate your food!

It’s disrespectful to the people who dedicated themselves to tell the story in the film, to the people who watched it and the people reading the article.

There’s a good reason why it’s important to have Black entertainment journos cover Black content. That Polygon writer recommending a G. RR Martin novel in response to the THEMES of Sinners is so tone deaf — and one riddled with the N word? Some of yall don’t have the EQ to cover Black stories!

…when said editor sent me a crazy defensive email chewing me the fuck out. Very defensive because this person mentioned how they know they don’t have enough Black people on staff and it’s not always possible to assign based on the needs of the story. I clearly struck a nerve! … all that to say …

The is is correct, it is just a game lol. If you don’t actively use language in a real world application — speak and actively listen — it won’t commit to long term memory.

Give it another go! The first time I watched it, I was kind of absentmindedly watching, likely because it didn't grab me. But I was interested. Then it took off at some point. And the season finale was just PREMIUM goddamn television. I was happy I stuck around.

It is done so well, I’m thoroughly impressed! Your description is spot on. It is so even keeled and steady while being able to give me the worst anxiety lol. Those tense moments don’t drag you around the room and give you whiplash.

Love it, fellow alum! Yeah, I don’t really even care for the cookies anymore, so I just put the cash straight on their coffers too

In lieu of cookies, consider donating directly to a local Girl Scout troop!
Cookie purchases are really just a vehicle for donating to the organization, kind of like “free gift with donation of $X.” But you can donate directly to a troop, any amount, instead.

I can say from the perspective of someone who only ever heard his music by force, seeing this photo was insane. LIKS, “PEOPLE LIKE THIS MAN!?”
