That’s not good. I hope they continue with the hosts on Max

I just read that Warner decided to move all the movies over to Max to increase subscriptions. I am on YouTube TV, but I’m not sure if other streaming services might still offer it.

#tcm I’m wondering if it is just YoutubeTv. Is anyone else able to access through another service?

#tcm I’m having the same problem.
I read that TCM may only be available on Max due to restructuring. Probably to increase subscriptions there. I hope they keep hosts and don’t just move movies there.

I also remember reading this as a teen and read his biography a few years later. I think this first inspired me to study and teach history

One of my favorite Ginger films. It’s one I have seen several times along with another favorite, Kitty Foyle.

Do you have a favorite Davis movie? Some of mine are Dark Victory, Now Voyager, and a Stolen Life.

Born on Kuaihelani (Midway Atoll) herself, Wisdom has been raising chicks there for more than 74 years. She is a true symbol of resilience, endurance, and hope. 💕

It’s nice but over time they were eating all of the grass in our yards and walking around on the roof and sitting on our cars. We stopped leaving bird seed but they visit once in awhile and wait outside the door.

We often have multiple peacocks in our yard. Sometimes they get a bit too comfortable. The neighborhood used to be an orange grove 60 years ago and they were used to alert farmers of intruders.

Good choice. My movie today is Mr. and Mrs. Smith (1941). I’m watching it today and forgot how much I enjoyed Carole and Robert Montgomery in this directed by Hitchcock.

One of my favorite scenes with Cary and Rudy Vallee at the potato sack race

I agree on TCM as a streaming app. It’s one of the few channels I watch on YouTube TV. I work from home and just noticing how many classic movies are available free on YouTube. I think I’ve been slow on figuring this out but I am learning from Blue Sky classic movie fans

I had not thought of subscribing to Criterion Channel until you mentioned this. Do you recommend?

My guess is Peter Blake. He’s been mentioned a few times. Maybe he ends up somehow involved in the Ava storyline. Or maybe he is Doug’s father.

The Major and the Minor has two favorite scenes. The first when she works as a scalp massager and next when she appears with her mother at the end of the film.

Thank you. Ginger is only vocal when someone comes to the door! I’ve had a few chihuahuas and she is quiet but very sweet. A breeder decided against using her thankfully and I rescued her at 9 months. She had never been outside up to that time so at 5 she is finally getting her personality.

I wish I would have studied pop culture and film! I mainly teach American and World History but may do some research and writing in film in the future.

Thanks I’m always interested in learning more about stars in WWII. My grad degree is in military history. I’ve read about many and for some reason overlooked Fairbanks. I was reading more about him on Wikipedia last night and was did not know he had a long marriage and 3 daughters.
