Thrust immediately into the biggest women's storyline in AEW history, an all-timer of an angle, made champion less than a year after her first match in AEW. Was a bit shaky in the first weeks as champ but was given the space to find her footing. Love her work but it's hard to feel sorry for her.

Seems like even with the Treehouse demos they've played things reasonably tight to the chest so hopefully this Direct blows things out a bit. It feels like there's a solid chunk of people that need to be convinced on it too.

I do feel like they were a team that deserved better a bunch of the time and it seems clear to me that while TK could be convinced of their potential he was never consistently enthused by them. That's just how it goes though, every booker is going to have their favs and who they work best with etc
