At the very least, I do have some solace that I was there for his entire life and he did live a good life with us, and he lived a long, happy life for a dog, but still...

I knew his health hadn't been good for some time and we agreed to put him down for his own sake had his health gone past the point of no return, but I still wish I was there to comfort him in his last moments.
I was just hoping he'd hold out a little longer so I did have a chance to say goodbye.

TBH I haven't checked on them in a while so for all I know, that's true. But in a vacuum, hindsight isn't your friend on shit like this.

Guys, starting from today I'm boycotting every single convention and LCS for telling me to take a shower for once in my fucking life.
