The outstanding hero of the 21st century so far. If only he could be President of America instead of Chump and Prime Minister of UK instead of Lickspittle Starmer.

I hope you will consider promoting a change to the US constitution. The existing set-up has been shown up as very dangerous, putting uncontrolled power in the hands of the President. No man should have that level of unfettered power, especially when he is willing to ignore or challenge the courts.

It took a while but hopefully this is America coming to it's senses at last.

It looks too good to be true. If it's real, what is its name as I would like to grow it?

Funny and on point until you attributed foul language to St Peter. There are boundaries.

If that is true it is an international outrage and there should be government action to stop this kind of profiteering. Where lives are at risk and people are suffering physically and mentally, those in positions of power should ensure the availability of these drugs at a sensible cost.

And Trump says Russia should be rewarded by letting them keep stolen territory and he will keep Ukraine out of Nato and he will end sanctions on Russia. You couldn't make it up. It is EVIL!

Here is a better idea. Since Trump is so keen to appease his tyrant buddy, why not offer Putin that if Russia leave Ukraine including Crimea, America could give them Alaska which used to be theirs anyway. As a sweetener they could throw in Fort Ross in California which was also a Russian outpost.

I heartily second your sentiments. It shouldn't matter to me in Scotland but apart from the fact I have a son and grandchildren in America, I am personally affected by the Trump effect on my pension as shown. I am already retired so the effect is immediate.

I think if King Charles took a poll of his loyal subjects as to whether they thought it appropriate to play host to a convicted criminal and tyrant who ignores his country's laws and constitution and wreaks havoc on world markets, he would get a very resounding NO, YOUR MAJESTY.

Is this good news? Avaricious Trump's America have recently shown they are not to be trusted. Seems to me the heroic country struggling for survival have been coerced to surrender their future wealth to USA who owe them a debt of gratitude for standing against the Russian threat.

Not quick enough!

I didn't think the constitution mattered any more in Trumpland.

Daisy looks angry. I wouldn't risk annoying her. 😡

Surely with the size of USA you can find someone with a bit of an IQ, a dose of common sense, some empathy with ordinary citizens and an ego smaller than Texas. Anyone saying they want to stand should be disqualified. Find someone doing an excellent job outside politics then persuade them to stand.

I have no hesitation saying he is my hero of the 21st century so far. Also no hesitation saying Trump is my anti-hero. At least we knew what to expect from the likes of Putin and other dictators but Trump has lived down to our very worst expectations.

I would like to think the American people would be intelligent enough not to go down that road.... Oh wait a minute! They voted him in a SECOND time. HELP!!!

Can Europe and the 'Coalition of the Willing' not give Ukraine enough backing to tell dictator thug Trump to get lost? We seem to be accepting that Russia will keep parts of Ukraine. I for one would love to see them driven out of all parts including Crimea. Don't bow to either of the dictators.

Once more with feeling! It is so insincere it is almost blasphemy.

I wish he was made of chocolate. Wouldn't it be great to watch him melt and swirl away down the drain FOREVER.

What about his boss? Is it acceptable diplomatic language to say respected world leaders are 'kissing his ass' and mimicking a bleating voice begging 'please sir, can I have a deal. Real schoolyard bullying stuff.

Trump is taking a wrecking ball to the World. He has irreversibly damaged world trade. He took USA out of the Paris agreement. Now wants to mine and burn more coal and has promised to drill and Frack as much as possible. As long as America is 'great again' the rest of the World can go to Hell.

Good meme but here's what it means in real life. A private pension I have built over years being destroyed by an orange American idiot.

This actually brought a lump to my throat. Here is a genuine everyday guy who clearly represents the millions who were taken in by Trump's lies and has learned a very painful lesson. Unfortunately, I fear 'you aint seen nothing yet'. The destruction has only just begun. God help America.

Correct! In UK we saw it with decimalisation, going into the European Union, coming out again, Gulf War, COVID pandemic, Ukraine etc. Every time these events are used by big business to jack up the prices and they stay up. Prices aren't set for a fair return. It's 'how hard can we squeeze them?'

I watched it over and over.

Not just America: much of the world is affected. How do we get to 'the ashes' and what gets burned on the way there. The world is waiting anxiously for someone or some organisation to stop the madness and restore some stability.

I would sincerely doubt Trump has the necessary brain cells to grasp that concept. I see him more as an extreme egomaniac and the US system has made him virtually an untouchable dictatorm

I guess Europe includes Denmark but you forgot to mention Greenland. Give him a few days and you can probably add most countries in the World. Make America Hated Again.

Pity someone couldn't work out what percentage of the World agree. 95% at a wild guess?

Boycott America. Many people are already doing this wherever they can.

100%... but you have to start at the top. The lunatic is still in charge of the asylum.

As a Scot, I am so pleased someone mentioned this. Most comment is about this careless 'mistake' but almost no mention of the scurrilous references to 'pathetic Europeans freeloading'. Maybe that's the view of most Americans?

You lose all support and sympathy for your cause using foul blasphemy like that.

Where was my favourite expert, Charles Hanson. Dropped by BBC when falsely accused of wife abuse. Now cleared by the court but that's not enough for BBC. There was no sign of him, even in the background of retrospective shots featured in the anniversary programme. Shame on BBC.

This man is ready to abandon Ukraine and many nights more lives were lost. Blood on HIS hands for denying the protection he could give until he gets his greedy way. Reminds me of Kind David of ancient Israel. Story here- 1drv.ms/w/c/90e66922...

Stunning! I wish we had them in the UK. We have fairly dull sparrows, thrushes, blackbirds, crows etc. Also magpies which are bright enough but kill off so many of the smaller birds. Visiting Cincinnati years ago I saw a bright red cardinal bird. Wish we had these as well.
