Exactly! Anyone who tries to rehabilitate a double-sieg-heiler is a nazi sympathizer at best and should have their political "opinions" treated as such

A democratic party that actually stood for popular policies like fighting for immigrants and the others that you listed wouldn't even need a "joe rogan of the left". Instead they're trying to find a snake oil salesman for their terrible platform that their big donors can continue to profit off of

there is something wild about "but people are evil"/"people will irrationally do things that harm themselves to spite others" and somehow then come to the conclusion "so that's why we give all of the power to a handful of really evil/greedy people with no checks, balances, oversight, accountability"

[2/2] Once we had him locked down, it was only a matter of time before we fine-tuned the training regimen to maximize his enjoyment and provide a steady leak π¦ The good wah lasted like like this for quite some time, too!

and this is also where "culture" comes in- growing stuff that is native and survives locally is cool! it might only be things like some spices or similar, but that's still a wonderful way to build community around yummy food :3 but yeah actually being able to grow everything you _need_ is rare!

for sure! if I had more characters, "inaccessible" would have been thrown in there too, from both a physical labor perspective and the necessary ecological conditions

You can do all of that and still have restaurants, even! There's nothing that ties current artificial food scarcity to professional food service. The demand for chefs wont disappear if we meet people's basic food needs.
Think hard- do you need to grow your own food? Or can you grow your community?

Farming and food-safety tools/skills should be freely accessible. I'd love to see that. I'd love to see a government that actually meets the requirements to treat food as a human right. But I also want to destroy the for-profit hunger industry so... π€·

I get the appeal of independence. Off-grid. Daydreams of (often rich white) ppl expressing (manufactured) social fears. I think local communities absolutely should grow their own food- but as a supplement to more centralized food distribution. A mesh of interconnected local production as redundancy.
