Duh, of course you have fashion sense - pony tails and glasses are hot! (Disclaimer: I may have written that with my hair in a ponytail and my glasses on too)

But didn't you know, if a hot girl wears glasses and her hair in a ponytail she becomes ugly!
(until she takes said glasses off and lets her hair down that is)

Genocide is genocide is genocide, ffs.
How is it antisemitic to call things what they are?
It's as if you were calmly watching a woman go on a murder spree, but refused to stop her (or call it murder) because it would be "misogynist"

Oh, just ban the poors, why didn't we think of it earlier?
Can we ban infectious diseases and cancer too?

When your "progressives" are actually just baby austerity-peddling, fund -the-rich, fuck-the-poors, waiting-till-I-get to-power-to-reveal-myself conservatives.

OMG. I would be giving a speech after this game, aimed at all the parents. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN FOR THEM.

This is intentional - the same strategy was used by secret police in Poland during martial law. They would arrest people, leaving infants and children unattended in apartments, and then use the threat of not calling anyone to pressure parents to cooperate and talk. It was inhuman and horrific.

I think police officers in the US should not be able to masks. If you’re not proud about what you’re doing quit. If you’re ashamed quit. If you have a conscience quit. If you’re afraid your family or friends will leave because what you’re doing is despicable then have the courage to quit!

The ad is cheesy, kind of lowbrow, and poorly acted - I wouldn't have made it.
But it's making people watch and think, so maybe it is achieving it's desired effect.
And going out of our way to be offended at any and everything doesn't serve anyone's best interest.

I appreciate the sentiment and willingness to go to bat for women, but linguistically this doesn't work the same way in Polish. It's a much more precise language, and puns and double entendres are very difficult to pull off.
"Place" literally refers to his spot on the couch, or by her side.

Yesterday I walked into the den and my husband said "he defunded NPR" glancing up from paperwork. "Are you writing a check?" I asked.
(he wasn't - but we will be)
Thank you for doing the work: the factual news coverage, and the investigative journalism that goes into so many of your stories.

If we ever get our government back, and get to actually put some of these people on trial, I think we should just sentence them to work in electronics factories instead of jail.

I also went to verify... well... because. I'm also on no sleep today so there seemed a very real chance I might be hallucinating.
I rage about how parody is dead regularly.
Every time I do, it feels like we have reached an insurmountable pinnacle of the absurd.
And yet we mount it yet again...

I keep banging my head on this one too!
Like, how do you think your $$$ will protect you against cancer? bird flu? ebola? e coli? against whatever other effing outbreak/disease we are defunding defenses for?
Not even Zuckerberg's bunker will protect you against cancer!
