However, even with the cross checking and cleanup required I am still prototyping much faster than I would be able to if I was hand crafting everything myself.

Another example - it has so far created 4 different color picker implementations in four coding different sessions.

As an example, the solution I am working on using is Angular Material 3, but unless I remind Claude about this in _every_ session it keeps creating bespoke TS/HTML/CSS instead of using the Angular Material standard approaches.

I wanted a digital display/digital signage so I could start dogfooding my HUD project. So I wasted the entire day trying to get Ubuntu Core working with a RasPi 5 and the original 7" display. In the end I went back to Raspbian OS and scripting. Got something working but I wasted 10 hours on it.

Ended up making spending an hour in the shed to make a riser that covers the whole back half of the desk - it's a low shelf that sits behind the monitors and covers all of the cables and power bricks. Not going to lie, it felt good to break out the hand tools and make some sawdust.

Also, VR gear.
Today's task is to start decluttering this mess and turn it into something that looks less like an Adeptus Mechanicus freak show.

I do use prettier, but I keep forgetting to set it up properly when I switch dev machines (which I do surprisingly often). Thanks for the tips - I'll try them out.

I haven't even left my office job yet - i'm still on extended leave - but without the structure of the 9-5 schedule it is hard to keep as productive. There are also many distractions on the home front that break up the day.

I regularly switch between Javascript, c# and python and now my default coding style is an ugly polyglot of snake case, camel case and pascal case. Semi colons everywhere (especially python - which is obv a problem).

A feed that only has posts from accounts with <500 followers would also be cool

Ugh - the thumbnail preview doesn't do it any justice. As an example, the website discusses this screen which is on screen in both Aliens AND Blade Runner!

(technically I am still employed..but I also have enough leave to wait out the redundancy process at home. I'm going to avoid the office squid games and start building my own thing while it all plays out)
