And yes, I know there’s erotica. But erotica only focuses on that first part, not the equally important last two.
It’s why I usually just shrug, say, “not for me, I guess,” put it down, and head back over to AO3.

To be fair, my aromantic-spectrum desire of “characters have hot sex, create an enriching and healthy relationship where they grow and help each other, and then amiably part” is not considered to be “a happy ending.” 🤷♀️
