The proliferation of these groups is a bit odd given it's all the same people on all of them. (And they have fairly similar policy views to most of the existing right-wing think tanks).

What a hollowed-out fucked-up corporate “local news industry” we’ve got, reliant on disillusioned poverty pay graduates rewriting dodgy press releases that are gamed for SEO by a casino, all enabled by Google pushing this shit through its Discover tab. pressgazette.co.uk/news/the-pr-...

A badly misguided court order in a copyright lawsuit requires OpenAI to store all consumer ChatGPT conversations indefinitely—even if a user tries to delete them.

An absolute scorcher from @johnjcrace. Do read! “Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive, But to be Dan was very heaven! O wondrous day. One of which dreams are made. Especially if you’ve been taking large quantities of hallucinogenics.” www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Labour have played their first year very badly. Voters were at their most attentive after the GE. The end of 14 painful Tory years, and the novelty of a Labour government. Even people with no interest in politics paid a little attention. But Labour used that time to paint a hugely negative image.

Note: We turned off the paywall for this one because it's primarily based on public records.

Absolutely spot on

I'm increasingly confused about who the actual Prime Minister is. Looks like I share this confusion with Morgan McSweeney.

Apart from anything else that "red squirrel" avatar is a MASSIVE red flag

"I’ve been voting Labour for as long as I can remember. For the last few elections (at least three) I have had misgivings about their manifestos and leaders, but... I have voted Labour... I’ve recently written to my MP to say that this is no longer the case, and I want to explain why."

oh my.

When you lie about your credentials, your drinking, and your leaking of classified war plans, why would anyone trust you about the air strikes?

God! That one of the soldier with his new baby. My heart squeezed. What if that were us?

A reminder: the government is wanting to keep secret who took part in the consultation on this legislation - www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/202...

Just a very naughty boy

No amount of “concessions” on disability benefit cuts will make them more “palatable” to those who will still suffer as a result. Balancing the books on the backs of disabled people is always inhumane and unjust. It costs lives. MPs can't be expected to sit by and allow this to happen.

For the kremlinogists, this feels significant – McSweeney and McFadden have until now been operating hand-in-glove (often in a way causing significant frustration to others in government). So this first sign of discord marks a moment.

Warwickshire County Council now has an 18-year-old Reform Councillor in charge. Good luck everyone. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Precisely that. "They're all the same" narratives only ever serve the tyrants.

For those with a hangover from yesterday's Hannan Day celebrations. Good Morning.

💥 BREAKING: Public support for a fairer voting system hits all-time high The new British Social Attitudes survey report reveals: - A record 60% of the public want to change the voting system. - Just 36% back FPTP. - Electoral reform is backed by supporters of ALL major parties.

The Liberal Democrats have tabled a bill to legally require a Parliamentary vote ahead of the Government deploying British soldiers abroad, as polling commissioned by the party shows that nearly 6 in 10 Britons (57%) believe Parliament should vote on any UK military action taken in Iran.

“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.” Starmer’s policy: a transfer of resources from the poorest, straight to the arms industry.

Chaminda's work on the disability cuts has been invaluable. This shows that contrary to many media assumptions that PIP cuts are primarily around mental health - they would affect lots of people with cancer, heart disease, and numerous other physical illnesses and disabilities.

@wulfhelm.bsky.social next time try going to New York rather than Mexico City - you might enjoy it more…

@craiggrannell.bsky.social what do you make of the changes? www.engadget.com/big-tech/app...

Almost funny to watch the EHRC try and edit their 'update' on the fly. Absolute amateur hour over there.

BREAKING: Labour MPs saying government figures ringing round rebels telling them it’s a confidence vote in Keir Starmer. BBC just reported 123 have now signed the amendment

Under anything resembling normal times, this level of political self harm would be unimaginable, especially over a policy which does not have public support, is counter to expert opinion, will cause immeasurable harm to individuals, and will undermine the economy. These aren't normal times though.

Work and pensions secretary Liz Kendall photographed today wearing an Omega Seamaster watch worth around £10,000. That's roughly how much she's planning to take away from the annual incomes of disabled people despite a huge rebellion of her own party's MPs.

@wulfhelm.bsky.social at least this wasn’t you…

Yet another example that should make people question Apple’s current design work. This feels like another example of prioritising what looks nice over what actually works.

Everyone should be furious at Daniel Hannan. If you voted Leave you should be furious at how different life in Britain on 24 June 2025 turned out compared to his pre-referendum fantasy. If you voted Remain you should be furious at what Leave voters were promised. www.reaction.life/p/britain-lo...
