This is an excellent first Big Purchase.

Hm, my ALT text didn't make it - this is a scene from Cabaret (1972), in which the tap dancing chorus transitions to goose-stepping soldiers. The caption reads: Are we not entertained?

And here, everyone is like: Where's the ALT?!?! and expects additional commentary.

Without the type of coverage this is being given, the entire NG and Marines exercise would collapse under its own manufactured absurdity.
My LA fam said without the wall-to-wall news coverage, they wouldn't even know any of it was happening.

wtf is this new "It's not in my lane" line they all seem to be using to wriggle away from questions? Was there some sort of memo that went out?

It's all just one big reality show.
Sorry - "reality"

Wellll - white supremacy/injustice sort of covers a lot of that, so let's go straight to the heart of it.

I'm glad my approach was always to only use it with mild saline solution which would imply having boiled water and dissolved salt before use.
Awful story.

I'm aware of that, I really get it. I'm just trying to act as a finger in the bursting dam and hoping to promote a few tiny havens for a little longer.

Probably you would need to get all your neighbors to do the same thing to get long-lasting results... 🫥

We moved to a new place 4 yrs ago - it was a desert of lawn & ground cover. Replanted it for insect/bird life, now it's filled with bugs, lizards, birdsong. A million tiny oases won't stop the devastation, but can provide refuge.
We need more public support for promoting awareness.

And if one Neanderthal was painting a nose on a pebble, you know there must be countless undiscovered nosed pebbles around. We just need to look!

A new neighbor lectured me at length re wind direction here. He banged on & on about it always blows in from the north-east.
In our French mountain village, though, wind blows from due west, hard, over a ridge. It was blowing at the time.
But I couldn't convince him otherwise bc he just 'knew'. 🤷♀️

You had me at "victory at any cost" - this is the crux. No concern for consequences or losses in a monolithic march towards triumph.

I agree. If you would have an thought best left unspoken in person, maybe use the same metric for online interaction.

Not only did he compose it - He gave harmonic prompts to his band members, but he and the group improvised it live while watching the film scenes on loop.
