In most countries, owning a firearm requires that you justify why you want a firearm & you have to receive training & pass an exam to prove you know how to use it safely. In most jurisdictions, you have to show the authorities that you have a secure gun safe to store it and a separate safe for ammo!

Every country has to certify aircraft as safe to carry pax. If European Union Aviation Safety Agency cancelled it's type approval for the 787, it would not be allowed to fly into EU airspace. I have a principle that I adhere to - if the aircraft's Boeing, I ain't going! I used to work for airlines!

Sensible companies have been doing this for decades! When I worked for British Airways back in the mid 1990s, they built a new HQ called Waterside where WFH was part of the strategy. hot desking for people coming once or twice a week was the paradigm!
