my first mistake was liking a comedy person, my second mistake was listening to a podcast. My other mistakes are too numerous to mention

they should realise how cool it is to have a wall caked with layers of out-of-date event posters, makes the place feel like it's not just been open for a few months and could be replaced by a tartan tat shop at any minute

Usually the section in a biography where the subject complains about the cost of fame does them no favours. Burroughs is an exception: innumerable ghastly acts before and during his rise to prominence but who could deny his lamentations about being in his 50s and having to humour the rolling stones

absolutely hadn't noticed the decline in places with gig posters until I made one recently, and the only places I saw them were music venues and the music practice room

Going to ruin the gig by constantly shouting for Lou Barlow to play "It's All You" from "The Sebadoh" and screaming for Lowenstein

I wish I didn't like it so I could pithily call it "dog man shit"

people need to listen to it on a discman in their child bedroom at 3AM on repeat in 2005 to truly understand it

not a bad film really but as a stupid jaded prick I found it a bit too predictable, which isn't a problem if the details are good, and some of the ones in this were. Just not sure I buy Wee Jimmy as a baddie, no matter how many accents he uses

he just pronounced "darling" as "dorlin'" so I think he is in fact supposed to be Irish.
But then he said "shouting" in a posh edinburgh way. But he is clearly some kind of trickster so perhaps this is all intentional and I'm falling into the film's trap

didn't realise it was a remake, but now I'm too far into this one to turn back and watch that instead

The twist will be that he's supposed to be Welsh

I've decided on a film where I'm trying to work out if the character 'paddy' played by James Mcavoy is supposed to be Irish

I avert my eyes when the 90s seconds of ads play at the start of the film as I've been without regular ads for years now and am no longer desensitised to their horror. Vile, hateful things that degrade us as a species!!!! Also I'm paying for this service, why the fuck are there any ads

all films available to stream are part of the same viewing experience known as "The Void"

in their ending, these clones fight amongst themselves to try and work out which one is the Original. But as they can't work it out, they decide to start a band instead.

UPDATE: he MIGHT use it as a sort of gun in one of his supermoves, but it's hard to see due to the camerawork. Thrilling!

very unhappy with the fact that an 80s pic from this book that I saw for the first time today also just appeared on my facebook feed. Trapped in the Coincidence Algorithm again, better drink some water while water still exists

for some reason I've watched this film 3 times, and each rewatch I've thought "surely it can't look as dark as I remember". Then spent the whole time exasperatedly wondering why they made it look like that
