An emotional tribute to Antonio and a revved up West Ham. Otherwise, would’ve fancied a wolves win

Very impressed by Bowen last night. Definitely considering Mbeumo -) Bowen next week too

West Ham covered 120.7km in distance last night. Longest of any side in a premier league match this season. Their previous best this season was 113km.

From West Ham’s perspective, Bowen was excellent. Paqueta had more control of midfield than Bruno G. Thought Kilman was good. Summerville lost possession a bit too much. Can’t tell if this is the result to kick start their season or a false dawn. One more gw of the Kudus ban I believe…

Yes, that was my conclusion, and the fixture list after Everton allows us to take a bit of time.

Is there much upside in this move though? One transfer to bring him in and then a dead spot either once Vicario had recovered or they buy someone else on January 1st

Should be good for Everton at home - possible captain

I thought it was telling that Amad got caught out by Leif Davis in the first half for that big Delap chance. I’d be surprised if we could count on him starting there. And also noted that Amorim made 2 changes in the 55th min - a #fpl nightmare!

Some close (Liverpool 3-2, arsenal 3-0, Chelsea 2-1), but not my weekend 😂

Yes, makes sense. I was all for loading up #fpl wise but now feel there’s an opportunity to let it settle first

I own Maz and thought he did well (v pleased Ipswich’s effort wasn’t given as an own goal 😂), but suspect that position is earmarked for Yoro. Interesting re Bruno - I didn’t see the second half so will keep an open mind

If Dalot were taking up these positions on the right, I think he’d be the player I’d bring in.

He’s my provisional captain next week! But he is being increasingly marked out of some games

Fair enough, I guess we’ll see. If you take out haaland, then I think you’re looking at Salah, Saka, palmer, potentially Bruno F, one mid priced forward and two cheapies, and two 5.5+ defenders. But let’s hope there are great variations available :)

It was a pitiful attempt to save a poor penalty today! I still feel Sanchez is on borrowed time

Can you get to Salah without selling Haaland? Surely it’s worth a try and much less stressful :)

Sounds like the backline could be Cash-Carlos-Torres-Digne, unless Unai gives Mings a chance to redeem himself. Clearly less sturdy without Konsa but could well still get a clean sheet

Surely neither of these options are as tempting as reaching 4FTs?? 😉😂

To me, Liverpool’s full fixture run from now until Xmas looks daunting, with few chances to rotate players. So that factors in Real Madrid, away at Girona and a carabao QF vs Soton, and tougher upcoming fixtures. Konate may prove worthwhile but the toll that this run will take should be considered

Keep and bench vs Arsenal imo

Everyone seems to have PTSD with Digne, but I’m desperately trying to be rational and take previous trolling out of the decision making process. But it’s hard 😕😂

What are your thoughts on the Villa defence Andy? Fplreview is suggesting Digne in for me… although I also wonder whether Konsa is an option.
comment in response to

Villa haven’t been that great at the back, but have some good home fixtures in the short term. You could do Trent -) Digne or Konsa and free up money for a midfield upgrade

Wise moves this week Az. Fwiw, Salah isn’t really a flat track bully any more, but Palmer is.

Thanks George, I agree. Going to wait on team news but I think this is the route I’ll go down.

Definitely close. Brentford’s away form is terrible. Fulham’s home form very good. I would go with DCL (but glad I don’t have that dilemma 😂😉).

Yes, that’s exactly why I’ve added Konsa into the equation. Fplreview says ditch Digne for Gabriel as part of a 3-transfer rejig in gw15. But Konsa is less of a transfer out waiting to happen. Could easily hold him through Xmas. Just much less attacking threat. 0.4 xG and 0.3 xA from 10 starts.

Digne has 3 assists so far this season. xG of 0.5 and xA of 1.8. 3 bookings. Some good home fixtures coming up and gets forward (as the chart shows). Passing the eye test. Even played (and scored) for France. Any takers?

Worth listening to the CotC stream that James did a few days back for the forthcoming Arsenal
v Nottm Forest match. Arsenal fan was saying that Havertz is now looking jaded cos he’s had to play so much this season. Could work though, and odegaard will make a difference to the work Kai has to do

I’d concentrate your funds because you’ll almost always want to bench two of the 5 you own

Tough, but I think I’d play ESR and then Mbeumo of the two Brentford boys. But feels counterintuitive to bench the guy who scored 2 last game week
