I piss on the so-called Christians here. They want this. When their trailers fly away in the next tornado and FEMA is a dim memory to them, I'll remind them that Karma is real.

I saved this so I can watch a few more times. Cool. Three on one and they got their asses kicked.

I'm glad you're safe, Jordy. We need all of our terriers, cause you're the best.

I hope that they're all sleeping in one place doesn't give anybody bad ideas. Wherever they are will need to be cleaned pretty thoroughly and aired out for a few days. Who's paying for the meals. Are they insured ? It's just not healthy. Yuck.

There aren't any Christians here anymore. We don't need to look for them. Save your breath. The ones who claim to be such should be addressed by some other term. But it would help if they closed the churches or turned them into something useful. Those long halls would be perfect bowling alleys.

What? What? What? WHAT? My dear person, you could not actually believe what you've said. Think about it for a bit.

Thanks. Sometimes it's hard to differentiate Irish Terriers from Airedale Terriers because of perspectives in the photos. Pebble is a real beauty. I'd been cuddling Jiggs for a few hours last night until the thunder stopped. We were both a little tired at the end. 👍❤️

I've had "rescue" Airedales ( Spairedales, they're called) for about twenty years now and have loved every one of them very much. It's early in the morning here (too early for coffee) and my current bestie (Jiggs) is still sleeping. She's such a sweetie. She's afraid of storms, and we just had one.

It IS Steve ! I'd know those whiskers anywhere. Clever disguise Steve, but I'm on to you. You can't use that bill to sneak out of the house.

Why not pick on an older woman if you're that up for sex ? The reason is that she'd kick your ass, at the very least. Victimizing young people, boys or girls who can't fight back, is what we used to call rape. It's still called rape.

This will get out of hand pretty soon, as people with enemies make them disappear. It will be another group of criminals (not the government ones) committing random murders. I can see this becoming a matter of complete loss of social cohesion. It will become like Mexico or Iran. No one is safe now.

The fools in the red states gave this to us. That's why the MAGA crowd wants to defund education. It's the only way to maintain their hold.

The current monster in the WH, sitting in the chair which once had the great honor of hosting Barack Obama, is doing so much evil that every day is a day of mourning. We must do more than simply hate him. We must work actively to fully destroy him.

I was completely blown away the first time I heard this. I'm not a religious person by any stretch, but the joy and the presence of Maggie Smith and Whoopi made me feel vey happy too. Whoopi played a lot of parts in her career, but I think she might have enjoyed this one more than some others. 💗

Well, one good thing about this is that Christian hypocrisy is being given a nice bright spotlight in which we can view its' total lack of adherence to its' tenets. RIP.

Methinks he protesteth too much, too loud, and too obviously with an agenda given to him, which is sticking out of the pocket of his Farah slacks with the ink still wet.

Arvo, too much of a good thing is not good. But.............. they did not look out for your welfare, and I have to say that after years of my sitting in judgement of federal cases, they are clearly at fault in this instance. Judgement for the defendant !
I suggest extra walkies and hugs from them.

Are my eyes confusing me or has Steve put on a pound or two lately ? A few weeks in the gym might help him in his rivalry with whoever this "Brad" may be. And, of course, limiting the trips to the pubs to, perhaps twice per week. I'm still with Steve though. He has a lot of character.

I'm having a peaceful moment thinking of all the hundreds of ways this doggie accumulated its' wardrobe accessories. A fun piece of trivia, if you didn't know it already, is that those seed-bearing parachutes are called achenes. A fact very useful for crossword puzzles, but not much else.

In heaven we will go where all dogs go, and eat cake with them. We will share our new books with old and new friends while wearing the same size pants we wore when we were sophomores in high school. And there will be herb. I have heard that this is true.

The proof of that pudding will be in the eating of it. Red states (who actually do pay taxes too )will get nada from the federal government which is tasked to assure recovery from these events. I can't wait to hear their whining when they don't get it.

What's with the ridge along his cranium ? It looks like a scar. Kind of suggesting that something was done to his head. That guy who challenged Putin and whose plane was blown up had one just like it.

My gateway to entomology was the work of J H Fabre, whose works I read as a small boy in the 1950s. Our local library has these in beautiful 11x15 hardcover volumes, Then I complemented my reading by field trips ( in actual fields). I saw the Cecropia, the walking sticks, the mantises., the bees.

I have always believed that all living things (and even non-living things) deserve respect. It's a difficult position to live with just the same. It would be a lot easier if we were not so acutely conscious all the time. It's a lot to think about. But I can live with myself.

It doesn't take much reasoning to see immediately that this is where our human forbearers first encountered the major sport of rugby. Who knew that we are so indebted to this wonderful group of funsters. In their version, everybody wins. And as usual, the party is at Steve's place.

A couple of years ago while coming out of the post office I saw a beautiful setter panting, with her leash dangling beside her. She came over to me, looked at me, and sat on my shoes. Jus because they don't talk like we talk doesn't mean that they don't talk. I helped her find her house again.

Dogs' ears are really quite sensitive, not just in being able to hear very well, but being delicate and open to harm. Keeping our canine pals safe after a bath is a big deal. Good groomers will always watch out for their clients' ears. 💗

The fact that Israel hasn't overthrown Netanyahu condemns the country to the same status as Russia under Stalin, Germany under Hitler, and the US under its' current monster. Israel is just another of the nations, a goyim of its' own making. It should stop pretending to be anything else.

That quote should be read in every single church, synagogue, mosque, temple and gurdwara today and yesterday. Whether you are a believer or a non-believer, the reality is that power always corrupts. It's much. much worse when an amoral creature like Trump has authority. There are no rules for him.
comment in response to

Politics and morals are constantly at war with one another. We who live as though the people and the land around us matter more than artificial rules which do nothing for those two things will consistently win in that war. Anything less is suicide.

It's kind of antithetical to the site to not be yourself here. If I were a woman I think I'd .............. I don't know what, really. It's even tedious to me, just thinking that even Bluesky can become an unwelcoming place. Your healthy attitude though is your best ally.

I grew up in the 1950s. So that could have been me. In the summers, I was out of the house by 8am and home for dinner at 5pm. The days were full of bike rides, wild strawberries, ball games and climbing hills. I was blessed by the sunlight.

Hi Kat. I'm a guy. And I have never understood what drives those rude impulses. I suspect that some just never grow up. Some of it might be from obsessive behaviour or whatever. I'm sorry you're having to put up with it.

Your hoomum has probably forgotten that terriers have their name from being very much attached to digging. Digging things out of the earth (terra), like other animals that might harm their hoomum's flower gardens or eat their chickens. Or sometimes, just digging for the fun of it. Carry on, Bobby.

They don't read, they follow the Fuhrer. What else do they need ? Until they need a lawyer because they broke one of his egomaniacal rules. They've already sold their souls, so it shouldn't bother them actually. Much.
