#ExZodiac is a well-executed #StarFox inspired #IndieGame. It successfully captured key elements like on-rails shooting, all-range mode, bosses, and charm. I love what it's trying to achieve. A few minor adjustments could elevate it even further. Be that voice acting, or self inspired elements.

While it’s great to see #IndieGames draw inspiration from titles like #Hades, it’s disappointing when that influence doesn’t hold a strong execution. #ReignBreaker features a solid soundtrack and neon-medieval punk design but fell short in delivering interesting gameplay or replay value.

Imitating the #SilentHill formula is no easy feat, most games fall short or become as cryptic as the originals. #PostTrauma was somewhere between engaging at the expense of a lack of narrative depth and visual quality. It had it's issues. The game was okay because the puzzles were fun to focus on.

Despite questionable marketing practices, #Microsoft continues to release engaging co-op live service games #Immortals33 & #TowerBorne are such examples. It seems they are attempting to revive a part of their long lost history, and I support this effort. Quick bursts of action is all it takes.

While others dove headfirst into #Oblivion, #Expedition33, and #TheLastOfUs2 during Aprils crowded release schedule, I found my way towards #SouthofMidnight. While light on gameplay, it was rich with Southern folklore and atmosphere. I really enjoyed this title. A great story and music!

One of the most engaging #TowerDefense games since #BloonsTD. #Emberward mixes in #Tetris style base building for a fun, challenging roguelike twist. Only downside? Endless mode is full of cheaters, stage 17 and up is straight-up impossible, let along they have 4-5 units. You're forced to take more.

As much as #BombRushCyberfunk is considered an overwhelmingly positive game, without the fantastic modding community to freshen it up, it falls flat as a single-player experience. Once you dig into the community mods, though, it becomes something absolutely amazing as a #JSR successor #IndieGame.

Tried to give #Runescape #Dragonwilds a fair chance, but it’s hard to recommend. It feels unfinished, unpolished, and lower effort than most other survival open world games. If you know Jagex, you know they love to recycle their own & others assets. The game has zero sense of reward or optimization.
