6-week post-op check up from hip replacement. Apparently my recovery is so ridiculously normal, the PA was able to answer each question I went in planning to ask before I asked it 😳 Still 6 more weeks before the metal fuses completely with the bone. PT still increasing strength and balance.

I have SO enjoyed this season of #DoctorWho Each episode has built on the previous one, and the writing, performances, and production have been fantastic. Can’t wait for the two part finale, but sad that there are only two weeks left in the season!

5 weeks post-hip replacement update: Able to put on my own socks and tie-shoes (as opposed to slip-on) this week! Taught three workshops and worked an event last night, which miiiiight have been overdoing it a bit.

4 weeks post-hip replacement update: Down to just one pain pill at night, which means I’m cleared to drive (whoohoo!), and using the cane full time.

3 weeks post-surgery update: Able to use the cane instead of the walker most of the day. Down to only two pain pills a day with Tylenol filling in. Strength and mobility slowly coming back each day. Wheeeee!
