There is no such thing as nonpartisan to Trump. You’re either a good lemming or you’re his adversary.
comment in response to post
That is very true. There are a ton of groups for every type of hobbie, passion, etc. but politics has kind of become the defacto topic here and that need to evolve.

I do agree that this should be a healthy alternative to the wasteful sludge Twitter has become and that’s why it’s counterintuitive to advocate for those trolls over at Twitter come here for “ thoughtful debate”. They never want to debate ideas just to push their toxic narratives.

To be honest, it’s like you’re new to the internet with this take. Bots, trolls and the insufferable have always been out there and blocking them has always been the only way to have meaningful interactions with the public and the software codes imitating them.

Why don’t you go tell that to ABC News?

It’s naive to think they won’t make up a narrative of violence anyway.

Let’s not ignore that the cruelty and ignorance doesn’t stop there: “Among those ships being considered for renaming are the USNS Thurgood Marshall, USNS Ruth Bader Ginsburg, USNS Harriet Tubman and USNS Cesar Chavez, according to CBS News.”

As a father celebrating his sons graduation this year as well what a wonderful looking image. May your son find continued success in everything he pursues. Congratulations.

Is it shared though? I think the mask is off now. There are many in this nation whose values I do not share and in all honestly I wish we would stop letting them determine how much and many of our principles, rights and values we are allowed to have.

Oh the irony of the draft dodger whose entire family skipped their chance to serve telling those who wish to serve that they don’t meet his criteria.

I feel for the science community that has to respond to this obvious lying idiot. If they just ignore him, we are at risk of idiots listening to him.

Many will take it on the chin and blame Biden.

The worse part is we have evidence of the dangers involved with this cruel and inhumane behavior. Yet, here we go again with barely a whimper..

They only care when they suffer. If they could still be making bank while we suffered they wouldn’t have changed a thing. If we want a better world, we have to work on cutting into their bottom line.

Conservatives crying about executive overreach is hypocrisy at its finest.

This guy gets it.

Young adult males are brainwashed against their own best interest. They are being pushed into a toxic mentality that does nothing to improve their lives but instead isolates and destroys positive outcomes for their own well being.

It’s not just that it’s expensive to make in America, we don’t have the infrastructure to make every item or the raw materials. Global trade has given access to materials and resources we don’t have. But hey.. 70 million Americans want people to suffer for one man’s inadequacies so suffer we shall.

Careful mocking it too much. The wealthy aren’t going to accept this for to long. They will start manipulating the market to their advantage soon. That can’t lose all their wealth. Just enough to buy low..

Not dogs.. a puppy. That she failed to properly train.

It is almost impressive the level of discontent and hate those that support this administration have in their souls. What does this accomplish outside of show an enormous amount of pettiness and cruelty towards a cultural icon because of his skin color?
comment in response to post
The danger is that a third of the nation is openly supportive of this administration. It’s an endless battle for a better nation in front of us because we always have these individuals actively involved in supporting our demise.

He only proved what those of us with two brain cells already knew. It was all show. Those clowns never had integrity or principles. They’ve been selling us out even before they were asked too.

Come on NPR! These BS headlines are getting ridiculous. Triggering a shutdown because they don’t vote for a bill the Republicans put together without their input that gives even more power to Elon and Trump. STOP pointing the finger at the WRONG group.
comment in response to post
Do me a favor and stop saying just Trump. He does not exist in a vacuum. It’s that entire ideology that doesn’t care and sadly, I’m seeing some Democrats are indifferent to it at the very least.

Thanks Obama.

The hardest question is what can we do about those that are in that grip because right now, they are dragging us down with them.
comment in response to post
Cowards. No spine and no principles. They will sell us all out and entire nations to save their little slice of life.
comment in response to post
Don’t call and complain. Call and read off Trump speeches. He’s not going to help anyway. Might as well gum up his line with the same nonsense we have to listen too.

I agree with the sentiment in the comment section. Don’t spread false information. I agree with the idea but don’t be a part of the problem. Trump does enough moronic stuff that making stuff up isn’t needed to insult him.

We need to be very aware of the performative admiration so many in this nation are using. It’s working to drive the cult to have a stronger bond with Trump as an image. We are in for a very dangerous few years.

Where does this fall in Bezos new free market and personal liberty opinion section?
comment in response to post
They still want you to know that even as the Republicans screw them over again. They won’t learn the lesson.

Maybe she thinks they’ll just forgive it like her PPP loans.

Thank you for this one. That’s an awesome resource.

As I’ve gotten older I’ve only gotten more comfortable with being against religion. Individuals like Mike Johnson solidifies this position. There is nothing more hateful or cruel than a religious zealot in a position of power.

It’s a shame it’s only 70,000. Your reporting is phenomenal. Glad to be one of your supporters.

Amazing.

Now tell the people what’s disgusting about it and say it everywhere and every time you can.

Fantastic idea. Once Chuck pushes those glasses all the way up his nose, I’m sure he’ll get fully engaged on another BIpaRtisAn compromise.
comment in response to post
I mean that’s assuming he’s making this point in good faith and there isn’t some reason to ignore all the evidence contradicting his comment.

It’s an amazing endeavor no question about it from me. I was mainly directing my line of thinking on the assertion that your money could somehow end world hunger. That’s an unrealistic claim. It’s dismissive and disrespectful to the complexity of that issue all to throw an attack at a rich guy.
comment in response to post
End world hunger? No. We sadly will always be one conflict away from another nation losing access. I don’t know Mark Cubans donation history (and I shouldn’t) but a more productive suggestion would be giving him an organization that is making a positive impact and pointing his support there.

The real sad part is the deafening silence from the military community.

Don’t worry everyone “bipartisanship” is going to save us sometime soon. /s

What an entitled fuck. Easier to work day in and day out for crumbs only to get sick and thrown on the street?

Why don’t the Democrats propose a bill to the Republican led house for the employees they let go? Come on Mr. Cuban that’s just naive. This could only make sense if Democrats had some say in what bills are brought to the floor.

Female Puerto Rican. You hurt them on two of their sensitivities.

No. Not for rational people. I will be following the advice of non-Trump appointed or aligned physicians.

I think the pushback that you’re missing for me is the mentality that this tool can actually replace real knowledge or education. LLMs are good tools but at the end of the day they can’t teach. If you have no knowledge on the topic, you won’t know if what you’re seeing is accurate, that’s dangerous.
