In many cases, especially in America right now, “stupid” is far and away the kindest term to use.

Incorrect, it’s way past time to tell tRump and Emo to F*CK OFF!

It's precisely because they run macOS and not Windows that I only buy Apple products.

If “the kicker” in “football” won’t kick, doesn’t that just make it “ball”?

I’m sorry, and I mean no offence, but only in America. 🙄

It’s all relative, Linux is relatively more secure than windows, hell, an open door with a sign to help yourself is relatively more secure than windows.

Oh, I'm definitely going to be using that.

For reference, I don't use Linux on a daily basis, rarely in fact, I'm almost 100% macOS.

It's good to see the dishonest interlocutors, resorting to personal attacks as a response, have made their way here from X.

They don't genuinely communicate the same idea in any form approaching honesty. Because the breadth of different interface options on Linux makes the statement nonsensical. It's like saying "I tried some and I've decided I don't like food".

My point was simply that what she said gave away the fact that she'd not actually made any real effort to explore the options, because if she had, she wouldn't be referring to "the interface" of Linux.
comment in response to post
I didn't say there is no interface, if you read carefully I said... There is no"the interface" Which means there is no single interface that could "bother" her, unless she'd tried literally every possible choice and they all bothered her, unlikely.

The point was that her comment pointed at "the interface" there is no "the interface" so I was questioning how much real effort she'd put into searching out options, which, incidentally, include friendly end-to-end Windows like experiences.

The fact that you end with "the interface bothers me" demonstrates that you haven't really looked into Linux. There is no "the interface" on Linux, there are a multitude of options, ranging from pure text shell to Windows clone.

I hate America with every fibre of my being, and swore I’d never visit again as long as I lived. However, I’d be over there in a heartbeat to stand by you and fight off anyone trying.
