No, I am a historian, and I look at history and what centuries of Christians have done. I have no reason to doubt that these people believe in the divinity of Jesus -- that's the only requirement. Other Christians cannot pretend that the harm they did was not done by Christians. Hope this helps.

My friend's dad and I were talking every day the week before. He told her the money didn't matter.
And then they went through with it, and she said it was the best day of her life, and it's been 18 years.
They're just really neurotic and were scared.

This.
Christian is not a synonym for good.
It just means they believe in the divinity of Jesus.

Have his cousin sit at the table with you.
Ask about putting baby chicks in the blender.
Ask if his own children are vaccinated.
Have parents who lost their unvaccinated children to measles testify. .
Make a citizens arrest.

He's throwing trans people under the bus, but while I think that's criminal, I don't think it's technically a crime unless it's a literal bus and a literal trans person.

(I also don't remember mentioning it to her kid, but even if I did -- she does NOT get to tell me what is inappropriate.)

And -- this is not a "what about Yemen" -- this is about you. You should care about Gaza.
You should also be capable of strategy and thought, and you weren't.

I use ceiling fans year-round. Our apartment isn't hot -- it's just that . . . everything feels prickly.

Why is Ella Emhoff a significant endorsement? Not dragging her, but this is silly celebrity politics. Her dad was the Second Gentleman. Not commenting on whether people should vote for Zohran.
Andrew Cuomo deserves both a resounding defeat and the misery the job brings to everyone who holds it.

I'm guessing they did not have the votes . . . because of Senate Republicans.

Penn didn't do this.
And Columbia may have done it DURING the Biden administration, but they didn't do it BECAUSE of the Biden administration.

I cannot believe she did that.
Maybe she and Gavin Newsome can team up on some kind of Former Bright Lights Actually Slimeballs project

Obviously, I mean it should be obvious I don't support the government censuring students.
And colleges did not censure them, at all, until Trump, which I don't celebrate. But I'm not sure what you're talking about.

You don't think happened?
The Tikkun Olam representative to our congregational board refused to correct 10/7 deniers on his public facebook page -- said he wasn't the FB police and that he was worried about genocide. It breaks my heart that he was right, but you can care about multiple things.

who expressed sympathy to me, because there were few.
And a weird number of people who both celebrated it and insisted it hadn't happened.
My Israeli friends in the peace-building movement burying so many, because that's who was killed.
And now we have Trump.

If you are a person who, like me, identified with the left, it was a devastating period. Yes, governments expressed sympathy. But the DSA in NY celebrating it, Gabriel Winant writing that odious article, Jewish anti-Zionists amplifying it -- it was a very hard time. I remember every single person
