To keep myself sane during lockdown, I decided to start gardening on my flat's balcony. Lilies are common funerary flowers, so black lilies seemed apt for a pandemic. I've never had green fingers, so I'm rather proud that they're thriving 5 years later! The first flower opened today ☺️

Fascism doesn't start with jackboots & detention camps; It is death by a thousand cuts, accompanied by a chorus of the unaffected telling the injured to stop overreacting. If you've waited until there are troops on the streets, you're FAR too late. "Land of the free" was always hollow propaganda.

I've never been a Star Wars fanboy, but Andor Season 2 was so good that I've set the music from the wedding dance as my ringtone ... They made a good choice with the soundtrack, going with modern electronica rather than a traditional John Williams style score; It makes events feel closer to home.

I just finished watching a complete run through of Andor (seasons 1 & 2) followed by Rogue One, and I was completely hooked ... It is by far the best storyline from a galaxy far far away IMHO! Unpopular opinion : Star Wars is much better without those stupid space wizards getting in the way.
