I think this is happening in no small part because "an education" is treated entirely as a commodity. It's not a thing you want for its own sake, it's the thing you need to have to even begin to be able to apply to entry-level positions and secure ANY kind of income or chance of upward mobility.

No Man's Sky, my cat Goblin, and @fridaytea.com's Nepali Silver Yeti (www.fridaytea.com/products/nep...) makes for a lovely, chilly afternoon. The tea is quiet and subtle, but also pleasant and fragrant, and makes me think of winters around the wood stove in my grandfather's cabin in Colorado.

Tonight's @fridaytea.com is Unsmoked Lapsang Souchong ( www.fridaytea.com/products/uns... ). It's a classic black tea, but with a lighter, floral flavor compared to a smoked black tea. It makes me think of warm blankets on a rainy day. Very nice with a touch of wildflower honey.
