The problem is we are paying him to be the NIH Director and he has the power of that position.

All the advancements we've made for human rights are shattering. I don't know that I'll be able to see us come back from it in my lifetime. We've done so much damage to our earth and now this. Adults have failed our children and grandchildren in so many ways.

And changing tables, baby powder, baby tubs, baby pillows (DO NOT use anything other than a firm mattress with fitted sheet), mittens (never stay on), walkers, hats for sleeping, and so many other things that are either just a waste of money or downright dangerous sold because parents buy them.

Companies prey on new parents. So many things are not worth your money, including tummy time mats, but also wipe warmers, instant formula maker machines, baby laundry detergent, baby acetaminophen (costs >> children's in the US), crib bumpers, sleep positioners, car seat dangling toys, & baby shoes.

Yes! One of my best buys ever!

You will love her! What did you name her? I have Alice. She vacuums and mops - key due to sugar gliders that sometimes pee on the hardwood floors. I could not keep up at all without Alice. She doesn't like my husband though. She always seems to be in his path despite being programed for off times.

I was covering for another group that weekend, so I don't know what they did with the family.

True, but if it's noted as an edit with past versions it could still work. Others could see I corrected my mistake, but that I tried to change the essence of the post.

This is fabulous!

* In fact... I want an edit button!

That's not going to happen anytime soon. I'm fact I think the laws are going to change to make us be forced to take care of people who don't (or can't) follow our advice.

I had a family send my office manager a letter expressing anger that I scared them in the hospital when I talked about vit K. They thought I should not even be a doctor because a doctor would support them and not scare them. My office manager shared it with the managing partner but I kept my job.

So sad when kids must pay for mistakes adults make...

That and vitamin K refusal are two of the most dangerous things a parent can choose for their newborn!

He's been anti science for a long time, so that fits into the new mass cuts for all spending. Only the things they're cutting often save money in the long run... They just aren't considering the big picture.

All could change if this admin and the people they choose change vaccine recommendations.

We are now a cruel country to live in under this regime.

Flu and COVID vaccines are not free if insurance doesn't cover them. We need them to recognize the value and hope they're available for everyone this fall.

I often wonder if the increased number of referrals is due to better screening or actual increased incidence- likely both since we didn't always do developmental screenings at all visits, but this research supports an actual increase.

I hope insurers look at the cost savings of covering the vaccines. Without them medical costs will increase in addition to the cost of lives.

Such a nice guy. Respectable. Honorable. Said no one.

Who could have guessed? But it's not like data will change minds, so... I want to live in another timeline where facts matter and science is used to guide.

Just came across this partial list of orgs speaking out. There are others as well. I think the public is unaware ACIP approval is tied to insurance coverage - there will be shock and additional anger when that hits.

6. Ross is an OBGYN and a partner in a firm focused on healthcare investments. 7. Hibbeln is an Omega-3 expert and psychiatrist. 8. Pagano is an ER physician. Not the ideal team to make the best decisions for our vaccine recommendations. Far from it! 3/3

3. Pebsworth associated with the National Vaccine Information Center, a group that advocates for vaccine exemptions and educates about vaccine injury. 4. Kulldorff helped write the Great Barrington Declaration. 5. Levi said mRNA vaccines can cause serious harm and death. 2/3

I'm glad they're standing up against this! People are going to die if RFK Jr gets his way.

Thanks for including contact information for Sen. Cassidy. He has heard from me.

If the members haven't been named, how will they prepare for the meeting coming soon? I presume that's part of the point. They won't be reading & evaluating the data closely. How is this supposed to instill confidence in their vaccine recommendations? That's not a real question. We know it won't.

So very sad for this family. I hope all the other families who are scared to use a safe and effective vaccine due to the misinformation they've come to believe will reconsider their position and protect their families with the vaccine.

When people point fingers at others, it often reveals more about their experiences than the accusations. It deflects attention from their own circumstances. Given this pattern, it suggests to me that Trump’s physician may not have been completely transparent about all aspects of his health.

Those can be deadly conditions. Another way they're trying to kill us.

That's brilliant! That said, I've resumed using brand names because the generics get mixed up - it's much easier to keep track of intuniv vs tenex or all the methylphenidate extended release 30:70 vs 50:50 & others. I think insurance purposefully denies one version and doesn't say which they cover.

I tend to see the same people posting day after day and miss others. I suspect it's due to the time of day we tend to hop on. But I change feeds for variety and it helps.

The overall cost in lives and dollars will be so much more than they're cutting. How can they not see this? Or do they just not care? They really do seem to want people to suffer and die.
