Yes, you would. It is already considered a governmental corporation which allows the government to run a profit on items. But, to move it completely private is a terrible idea

I can see this being challenged because Congress governs postal routes. Privatizing it will dismantle a lot, such as free mail for Elected officials, federal penalties from opening mail, the constitutional right to receive mail….

Also, this is really a LA County Supervisor issue because technically they have more governance than the local city next to it even though Pasadena has assumed responsibility for the area

Let me put another perspective. This is an unincorporated city. There is no mayor and council. All of their city services are at the mercy of Pasadena. Things like city sidewalks are not always present. I wonder if this presents another discussion about the Need to be an incorporated city

It is a fascinating premise to be against. Most Americans will not grasp why it would be challenged because it is a technical argument. Yet, it is easy to frame: Republicans don’t want women to have equal rights. 50 yrs later.
