I do, I just know it's not now, in public, in a way designed to do nothing but make the OP feel clever. The most interesting part of this is that when faced with the two perspectives, you chose to back whataboutism instead of fighting Authoritarianism.

Silly me, I forgot that undermining allies during a fight against Authoritarians is a good idea. Keep running with that.

There is, but ask yourself which side of the fight in LA is being helped by that being brought up _now_. If there's a legislative clue to how Trump could get shut down more quickly in that knowledge, bring it up where legislators will see it - not here where it helps the right.

I'm generally annoyed by people with good intentions becoming useful idiots for the rich and powerful.

See, it's a testament to American exceptionalism that you assumed I'm American. I'm not. My country wasn't allowed to slip into Authoritarianism by leftists who think learning from the past means bringing it up at the least useful time possible. Keep up the good fight.

Don't bring facts to a propaganda fight, it's not worth the time. Not that it matters, but I would prefer to be proven wrong with facts than affirmed with rhetoric. I'm left because reality has a left lean. And because you'd have to be insane to support the status quo right now.

Aussies had been calling them Nazis for about as long as we've been allied to them. Precisely zero Aussies are surprised that they've back-stabbed us as badly as they have. USA: "Live with it! We have a military base in your country!" Aus: "Correction, we have one of your military bases."

I honestly hope a few of you see this and understand that every kid needs to grow up being able to do this, so their first response to anything is: Where did this come from? That's how information worked for millennia. Learn critical thinking, not anti-ai slogans.

A decade after my economics degree, I did a Fine Arts degree in professional and creative writing. It's amazing how fewer people take the Fine Arts degree seriously and yet it lead to a far more powerful and influential career. The combination helped, though.

That's where I put my open-source AIs and corporate espionage data.

I admit, I have not heard of Simon's tool. Claude Code is amazing. Gemini came good with 2.5 Pro. Keen to read your thoughts as you go.
