I figure only his fans will buy the phone. This isn't terrible. It would be cool if the phones were used to track the gullible to make it easier to sell more stuff to them. ... The problem is if the phone batteries explode. (Wait. That reminds me of something.)

Way more than 5 million! I think the estimate is now at 13 million people.

I don't agree. Surely he had already picked up on that the maggots were saying he was not a trump supporter, must be a lib. Yet here this guy is, a trump supporter, destroying the main talking points by the maggots who refuse to admit that the Assassin was Pro trump. This guy did us all a big favor

I suspect they know how, and I wager orders for parade organization didn't include that it had to be done. ... So further down the chain got to pick what to do.
I like to think it was a combo snub at being abused for private entitlement and a highlighting of Hegseth's bad choices.

How is it that we get count estimates for each city's protest size but there isn't one for the parade?

I hope it was done as a tiny way to rebel. They surely knew it wouldn't look as good, and if they didn't have orders from above to march in step, then why obey in advance?

Alt National Parks has a tally, but I don't know if one can get the complete list.

TBH, "now" is not defined, which already makes this particular share unprovable. Hopefully someone who got a timestamp will share.

In his own words. He went past the yellow tape to try to enter federal property after having been told not to. (The VA was closed but he didn't realize that.)

In his own words. He wasn't being particularly smart and had tried 3 times to get into the building. For an appointment -- not his office. It was real tape -- not imaginary. He voluntarily went to the ground.

The guy says he was asked to get on the ground and he complied.

Wow. Because I am the sort of person who cares about people I do not know, because they are being abused by their leader, I must be on the side of their evil leader. Slow down a little and try to realize that the men and their leader are not the same and the men might have very different values.

I am not defending the administration in any way! It is beyond abhorrent.
I am defending the individual Marines who have been unjustly used and are now caught up in this controversy, being maligned and judged guilty with no evidence. We should not be mimicking the actions of our enemy.

The magats have three provable points they are using to say he was a liberal. I eagerly await the release of his manifest. Not just for truth's sake, but so, if they are wrong, I can start slamming them.

No, he was going to "an" office, not "his" office. OP didn't read the article or intentionally skewed the truth.

Why do you think that the men who chose to fight for our country, enlisting possibly within the past 4 years, under Biden, want to support a fascist? They were ordered to go there. You don't know anything about those individual men other than their skin color.

Does anyone remember our friend, Canada? That a huge hope is that our military will refuse to attack? How does treating these Marines as criminals when they, themselves, were not breaking the law help them feel firm in the knowledge that disobeying at the crucial time will help restore America?

The article says it was (real) yellow tape. Where is it credibly reported that the line was imaginary?

The video shared by Reuters does not show the method used to get him to the ground. I would love to see the reality if there is a video that shows it.

Nope, not saying that at all. The person who encourages violence by stirring up negative emotions with distortions of the truth (or total lies) is escalatory.
I don't know why you think you heard me say one cannot defend against unprovoked attacks against you.
comment in response to

All means all. Of course the people who order are responsible, as are those who do the violence. But the Marines who handcuffed were not being violent. They were doing their job. Yeah, yeah, Nazi high-ranking officials failed in that argument. These soldiers are not high-ranking.

Interesting choice by the photographer, to show a child having to look at that.

Because federal charges = a pardon and a killer walks away to do it again.

Detained, not arrested. Legal. The article you share says it was a real tape, not a line. Also he was on his way to AN office, not HIS office.
Unless you have information that isn't in this article, you are escalating this. If tomorrow goes belly-up, I hold ALL escalators responsible. Be better.

I worry they fear military action and don't want to be in town for that.

Since she knows who he is, she could have told her agents to leave him alone. Instead, she let them commit a crime with mandatory jail time. Oh, but yeah, that is a federal crime, which means no punishment at all.

Found the answer. It happened 2 days ago. Thanks to the commenter here who said it was Huntington Beach police. That helped me locate another video (different angle).

Thanks! I'd seen a picture of these guys with a crowd in front ... I get so discouraged when my side shares misleading stuff as though it is truth. It only harms us.

About as lame as people believing a video that says "no crowd" but does not SHOW no crowd.
Get harder to maipulate evidence, don't trust what one person says.
comment in response to

How do we know there is no crowd, or that there is something scheduled in the near future but hasn't happened yet? The camera does not show "no crowd". Don't feed the magats by releasing things where the reality cannot be verified.

He did pick a place rife with FOX "news" watchers with family still hurt from losing the Civil War and not super-likely to have friends & family in LA. Shoot, for all we know, their communication with the real world has been cut off.

We need to take control of the narrative in terms that will resonate with the ill- & under-informed.

Yes. I know of someone who is on fed fent charges - 20 to life - very solid case. Trial delayed 3 times since Trump elected. In Texas. How is this showing that the feds take fent crimes seriously? They should be setting example to stop others from doing it. Instead wink wink 'cause he not immigrant.
