Musk is very specific here but doesn’t mention the money he fronted. Is he basically admitting that he helped rig the elections in those marginal seats?

You mean, do what the Republicans do all the fucking time? I’m shocked.
And how did that work for GOP, you say? Erm, they got 3 Supreme Court Justices and gummed up most of Obama and Biden’s legislative agenda. So it worked pretty damned well

Just wait until federal government contracts are paid in cryptocurrencies - public money siphoned off, no transparency, no accountability and, probably, no paying of US taxes

I’m not commenting on the validity of the pardon (for the record I think it was absolutely valid) but that Biden painted himself into a corner stating, time and again, that he would not pardon his son. He didn’t need to do that and he was poorly advised.

Who the hell has been advising President Biden regarding his son’s travails? They’ve done a piss-poor job and handed priceless ammunition to President Trump with this flip-flop

Just reiterating this. I see no reason for the current President to do this. You can be damned sure T-47 would do the same

Funny how easily “America First” goes from a 1930s fascist slogan to a glitzy ballroom backdrop.

The US public service is already smaller that comparable democracies across the world. The actual budget for employees is minuscule compared with the total budget of the federal government

I don’t disagree with you. Sometimes it makes sense to contract out, but far less often than Republicans would have us believe.
If your main incentive is making a profit, rather than selflessly serving the people, how can you possibly do as good a job for the same cost? You can’t.

One of his more astute observations has been that while progressives tend to study liberal arts, conservatives study marketing - while a progressive can build a logical and rational argument to defend our amplify their views, republicans are already on their third sound bite and set the agenda
