It’s a dilemma:I have tried every crumpet under the sun from aldi to M&S and none are anywhere near as good as warburtons!Pretty much all their stuff is good also - bread, potato cakes, tea cakes -what a shame they are huge Tory donors! On the plus side one of my heroes (wyn Davies)used to work there

That’s true …. But warburtons crumpets are the rolls Royce of morning goods 😎😀I still refuse to drink thatchers cider though😧

Gary is a particular disappointment, not as bad as Elvis Costello but bad none the less . Great actor but the rot set in when he played Churchill imho . Daltrey has always been a gammon , the least talented member of a superb band also

He looked decent at Chelsea, but that was in the days when you only saw highlights on tv !

It’s always been vile , the online comments section is often like a comedy script and it’s worth logging on to wind a few gammons up ! Hours of fun if you are at a loose end

Good luck Kevin, after Manchester the bay of Naples is my favourite place on earth . Forza Napoli 😎🥰

All great places and I have visited them all but so are Lancaster,Carnforth , Lytham Preston , morecambe and fleetwood. This overhyping of everything Yorkshire is cringeworthy, if it’s not farmer programmes on channel 5 it’s bleeding tea bags ! Jayne Macdonald needs a steam roller on her bonce also

So you can’t actually offer any proof then …. Mate 😎? Can’t say I am surprised because you are the latest in a long line of experts who fail miserably when asked to explain your opinion

“ whitewash “ ? What actual evidence can you offer that proves city are guilty ? Uefa tried and failed and it appears the PL are going the same way ! For all the bluster I have yet to meet anyone who can tell me what exactly city are supposedly guilty of !

This“ transfer ban”rumour nonsense is just wishful thinking. City merely spending the 400 million quid in prize money they have won in the past 4 years and a similar amount generated by transfers from the academy since 2015 . They need players for next weeks USA trip to rotate, hence the quick deals

Dorsets finest ! Used to go to Lyme Regis a lot and that stuff , badger ales , palmers and a cider called ginger tosser were particularly nice

Only fair after he taught Arteta , Alonso and others who are now respected coaches that he gets a bit of assistance now .

Went in his pub once near Central Park before a Wigan v Salford match . The bloke was an absolute gent , so many great RL players overlooked for honours whilst union players get them by the score !

Really !!? I watched the England match with the sound whilst I played music ! What did they say exactly?

Motson evoked images of middle class households having a 3 course lunch with wine ! We got a double lunch which we worked back and ate chips out of the paper with a can of pop 😎 a few years earlier Brian Moore used the “

I quite agree and I am a lifelong city fan . Fantastic work for charity but am pretty sure Lou gets enough reward doing what he does . So many fantastic people in this country that do so much that goes under the radar

I know mate-ridiculous!Last time I was in the city club shop in 2023 they were charging 80 quid for the new replica shirt and over 100 for a “ same as the players wear “ version ?I made a point of picking two up to compare them and couldn’t see the difference! I then purchased a badge for 4 quid !!
comment in response to

Retro shirts have always been better than the latest fashion versions. Think the most I have ever paid for one is about 20 quid and 2 grand plus for a match worn one us frankly ridiculous

Thatcher and her “ property owning democracy“ are responsible for this mess.Only us , america and Australia play this stupid land grab game that sucks in millions whilst the rest of the world seem to do ok paying decent rents . Labour will need at least 3 terms in power to even begin sorting this

Was a great game and Warrington probably unlucky but hey Ho ! My RL team is salford , they have only been to Wembley once in the past 75 years and it was the covid one in 2020 with no spectators 😎

Used to be great but everything is online now so the print versions are obsolete. The king of the kippax / Man City one finished last year and pretty sure most other clubs no longer have them either

And nothing the previous year when they received 400 million in prize money between 2023- 24 , add in the 300 million the academy has generated since 2015 and it’s a tidy sum before a match ticket or replica jersey are sold . Thanks for coming out

Just renewed my city season card for the 50th consecutive year,no increase this year and less than 600 quid,Most championship clubs charge more. It’s still 70 quid for a day ticket unfortunately which is why many local working class fans can’t go ,and that’s why fan groups protested last season
