Thanks for sharing! Copied some of it into my own rules file. 🫶

Do you feel that you were able to solve it? Or is it something you accepted?

Took a look in the past and got stuck. Going to give it another shot post this weeks ElixirConf presentation on it.

And the video from Jose how to use JS hooks to improve the experience: youtu.be/fCdi7SEPrTs?...

This is a great post on why managing state on the server makes things simpler: dashbit.co/blog/remix-c...

This is also a great video on JS commands: youtu.be/BRUTYHBJ_Z4?...

Hey Gio! Since LiveView is managing the frontend from the server, it may feel unresponsive if the user is far from the server. JS commands certainly help, for example to signal to the user that the click has been registered. Jose has a great video on that.

Would you mind sharing your rules file? 😁

Yes, the SPA optimized solution, which also simplifies matters is to have a sync engine, keeping the state in sync on the frontend.
Zero from Roccicorp comes to mind as another elegant solution for a great responsive UI.

So for my side project, I’m now starting off with read-only replica’s in different regions and thus having read and write Ecto Repo’s from the getgo.

I bought the ticket but I couldn't watch the stream from yesterday. Is it still possible to watch that back?

No, Oban runs on your database (PostgreSQL primarily, but also supports MySQL and SQLite) and uses the Erlang cluster for distribution.
I would recommend to go through its documentation, it’s really well written.

Interestingly, it's similar to Emacs. Brings back fond memories of the years I spent in that editor.

I’m a big fan of Oban for that.

What were your doubts?

I hear you, have spend way too much time tinkering on my editor and terminal.

Same, and it’s minor, but it’s slow, finicky and I don’t like to get my hands off the keyboard.

Morning! Having a similar view right now being on holiday in your home country.

The only caveat is that your domain needs to be managed by Cloudflare (also free). Otherwise, you can still use their domain to access your tunnel.

It’s free, easy to use and can also run on your own domain.

Yes! That's why I love it so much. Building an application in Clojure is still one of my most cherished programming experiences.

Maybe I should have made it clearer, but it's completely hallucinated. There is a proposal, but it seems to require a significant investment to make it work:
