Ukr: So I pay and get nothing in return?
US: That's right. Besides, if we help you in the future, you'll owe us even more.
Ukr: What? I already have to pay $500 billion.
US: That's just pocket change.
Ukr: That's twice our entire GDP!
US: Who cares, in future you'll pay 200% of what we pay..

US: That was then, now you owe us the money.
Ukr: $500 billion? You only spent $120 billion.
US: Let's not quibble over pennies. Pay up or we won't help you anymore.
Ukr: So if I pay, will I have security guarantees?
US: No, none. But maybe we'll have an interest in keeping you alive.

USA-Ukraine Agreement in brief (1/3):
US: You owe us $500 billion.
Ukr: What? For what?
US: For helping you.
Ukr: But you said it was free. And you signed a pact in the 90s that said if we gave up our nuclear weapons, you would guarantee our security.

As always, people worry too much about others' opinions. Just be yourself, do what you enjoy and call yourself whatever you want. Running can be amazing if you do it for yourself, and a source of frustration or shame if you do it to impress others.

So true, yet we constantly see people falling for this.

Absolutely! It’s a huge driver of creativity and innovation.
Speaking of #PowerBI, I used to think I had mastered it, but I quickly realized I was just scratching the surface. It’s such a powerful tool that enables you to create truly incredible solutions.

Thanks, Miska! This dashboard’s target audience is quite different from my usual corporate execs, so I decided to take a completely fresh approach. It’s dynamic, energetic, and a bit flashy—just like triathletes!

That being said, it works pretty well for the wealthy. Their life expectancy is over 15 years longer than that of poorer individuals. So maybe it is by design.

Not only it delivers poor health outcomes despite being the most expensive, but it even destroys people financially.

True that. Almost any chart you look at traces the root cause back to the '80s. The funny thing is, Reagan somehow maintains very high positive ratings, with over 70% approval among Americans. But well, we've learned that facts don't mean much these days.

3/3 However, the biggest contributing factor by far is uneven access to healthcare across income percentiles. The US has a massive gap in life expectancy between high-income and low-income individuals (over 15 year). In fact, their healthcare works extremely well for the wealthy. Maybe by design?

2/3. So, the number of firearm deaths did increase, but relatively little compared to the population. What did increase considerably, though, is the number of opioid overdoses. That factor added a few hundred thousand extra deaths, affecting life expectancy to a small degree.

1/3. That's an excellent question. This could be a major contributing factor. Luckily, we have data for a quick #dataanalysis. Here are firearm deaths in the US over the last decades. The number increased in recent years, but relative to the population, it remains stable.

Saying that it's "raising risks of ethics conflicts" is like saying Mount Everest is just a bit of a hill. Gotta love those journalists! 😊

Ah, the sweet memories! Running from Rim to River to Rim was an unforgettable experience. It was the best trail run ever.

It's insane that in the US, drug testing is required for a Walmart position, yet not for people with real power, where sound judgment is absolutely critical.

Damn! People got living wage and prices went up by staggering 15 cents! These communist ideas are ruining this country!

True! Having skills is, of course, important, but having them officially recognized is hugely beneficial. Even if it sometimes takes some effort to obtain it.

Rogan has faced criticism for many things, not all of which were justified. However, this is truly disgraceful. He has now lost whatever shred of respect he still had.

Notice the lack of empty/white space that should be present approximately between midnight and 6 a.m. Very disturbing. And here's a theory that was proposed to explain this.

Oh, I agree 100%. What I meant was that much of what is considered radical left in America is considered mainstream or common sense in Europe.

Exactly. Plus, why would you subject yourself to the daily firehose of misinformation from Emperor Musk? People underestimate the effectiveness of propaganda, which has been proven to work again and again. Just look at the proportion of Republicans who believe that the 2020 elections were stolen.
