There are multiple reasons for why the appearance of impropriety is the standard for such high-powered individuals. One is obviously to facilitate trust. Another is that once you allow the appearance of impropriety, actual impropriety can get very hard to establish and eliminate.

Headlines this morning say that Hegseth has fired his chief of staff. Hegseth screws up huge and everybody around him gets punished. Sound like childish incompetence to you?

Trump was quoted as telling him that he ‘definitely has the look.’ He looks like a typical Ivy League prick to me.

About Kilmar Abrego Garcia & the so-called ‘homegrowns’ (US citizens that the president wants to deport to prison in El Salvador). This is idiot barbarism, not common sense. A menacing & threatening dearth of depth. We are being governed by the moral and intellectual acumen of a 15 year old.

“Yeah right, make me.” That’s what the President is saying again and again. Somebody has to make him. Sorry, it really might not end well but that’s the situation we are in. Force. Is. Required.

Strategy: It’s suddenly so clear. Strategically speaking, attempting to turn enemies into allies and allies into enemies has got to be the stupidest decision possible. Congress must act immediately. What other option are they even considering???

If Trump wins this trade war, he will become a juggernaut. America can neither afford to win nor lose this time. Congress has to stop it NOW.

If Trump is actually seen to have won this trade war, he will become an infallible hero to tens of millions of Americans. His power will grow even further to unacceptable levels. The world has no choice, does it. It has to fight. Congress must stop this madness. NOW.

Congress Must Act: I just realized something startling. We are less than 3 months into the new administration. Trump has no interest in doing small things. This trade war is only the start! It’s never been clearer to me the danger we are in. Congress needs to act immediately.

First World Problems: Nearly every single problem that we suffer boils down to just one thing. Our ineptitude when it comes to effectively managing the way that we feel. That’s it. This is the failure that we all must face.

The way for America to make it through this crisis stronger than when we went in is for us to toss Trump and his cabinet to the curb before too much lasting damage is done. Otherwise? I don’t really see how we get back to normal. Ever.

Lies, Bias & War: The bias is amazing. Zelensky is pushing for security guarantees because he ‘doesn’t really want to end the war’. And Putin is continuing to attack Ukraine because ‘this is how badly he wants to end the war.’ For God’s sake.

One thing about authoritarianism. When those guys make bad decisions… Oh Boy, do they make bad decisions. This country’s government was designed with that truth firmly in mind. We had better start remembering too, and quick.

Zelensky doesn’t have any choice but to make the best of the situation. He has lost all meaningful support. He will do what he has to do and pray. Europe is quite rightfully scared to pieces. We would be too. The trouble coming may quickly prove far worse than 1/2 of US citizens seem to think.

A study about voting utilized young children choosing candidates. A large proportion of the American electorate choose their candidates the same way that a child would. They are actually mostly influenced by superficial impressions & outward appearances. We need to know this about ourselves.

“The fragmentation of the west has begun.” - V. Putin? Not only does this statement highlight just how happy Putin is with Trump’s policies, but it also means that he has no fear whatsoever that a very loud announcement could possibly screw it up. What the hell is going on???

Is there evidence that Putin is actively incentivizing Trump? He could promise earthly wealth beyond the average person’s ability to really conceptualize. What if this dramatic alignment with Moscow and away from NATO is only pretending to be in our interest? How would we know?

What $5 Million Citizenship Could Buy: I can’t help but wonder if Trump is thinking about hiring naturalized billionaires from other countries to sit in his cabinet. What are the possibilities for massive profit?

The most qualified people to determine who gets fired are the closest people. The coworkers, the customers, the managers… Musk is going to go through individual emails from thousands of people one by one and evaluate them? OF COURSE NOT! It’s an excuse to terminate thousands of employees.

I hadn’t considered DUI information. The rest I anticipated. Your original response got me curious. ‘Revealing what is known’ is a little contradictory. My mind ran with it. Thank for data…. mmmm… r-pic-pic-bmp…
