I’m not sure I know what I’m watching with today’s IndyCar race. The overdriving is ridiculous on a track where precision has been the hallmark of its success. Fox are doing an awful job the commentary is very poor, camera work embarrassing and a poor satellite feed with the picture freezing.

Looking from the outside in it appears that all these ICE agents are picking up people who have committed no crime. Yet there’s no reports about violent gangs or drug dealers being arrested. They are just going for soft targets rather than ones where they might end up with a cracked fingernail.

Here’s a suggestion for the Monaco Grand Prix having recently seen the formula E race at Monaco. Let’s get smaller F1 cars again and we’ll see overtaking the end of Monaco in the formula E race was so entertaining because there was overtaking (lots of it).

6 days on I’m still thinking about the 3 & 4 rounds of the US Masters. Sport at its very best and entertainment of the highest level. When you don’t tinker with the sport, how it’s played, rules etc the history of the game gets improved every year. I wish other sports didn’t mess with the package.

Watching F1 practice at Jeddah, I can’t help feeling if two F1 cars get together in the high-speed areas it will be dreadful if a car gets launched into those catch fencing. Racing cars and suspended fencing don’t mix, Indycar has got far too many tragic stories in that regard.

The F1 was an absorbing race, not a classic. I hope to see good racing from the IndyCar race although I find the thermal club track and overall layout soulless and looks the elitist with the properties next to the racetrack.

Sat in a supermarket car park and a friend messaged me about Eddie Jordan‘s passing and I commented on how sad it was. At that moment a humble old Citroen in stinging bees colour scheme turned up how ironic but it made me smile. A life well lived Eddie you’ll be missed.
