And obviously, the NHS.
Yes, it is overstretched and suffering from neglect, but bring a parent in for a day procedure and witness the depth of compassion in that organisation.
If nothing else does, that should restore hope.

As an aside to this, for the love of God stop carrying your credit/debit cards in a case with your phone. If your phone is nicked with your cards you are even more stuffed. I see SO many people doing this.
